Out of all of his themes, this one has to be my favorite. Especially when this played during the final Wu cutscene with Lu Bu charging through Sun jian's army with Red hare and pointed at the moon with his halberd.
This is my second favourite after Lu Bu DW5 theme. If DW5 Lu bu theme like it is did in it's opening, that would have made it the best sounding, considering that DW5 was the peak in the DW series, all of the following titles were bad apart from DW8 which was ok. 🔥🔥🔥💯
Lu Bu died from a lot of reasons. About three military groups including Wei and Shu and a few others all performed a joint assault on his castle. Many of his men turned on him, his castle was flooded, and he was drunk/asleep when they managed to tie him up. I guess they figured out they couldn't kill him while he was awake

@@EyePatchGuy88 Well with Orochi being the titular character and the endgame threat you’re building your characters up to defeat, it makes sense Lu Bu feels more akin to a high-tier midgame boss level character in comparison. He’s still one of the core 4 power titans of the game though. Orochi>Lu Bu>Tadakatsu>Keiji imo.
@@qq5847 Hey being fair though, WO1 was still apart of the generation of Warriors games that still had some grit to them, a casual first playthrough through all the stories before you learn how to minmax weapon fusion and max level characters and abilities you can hit some roadblocks if you don’t grind growth points, Orochi is built up well as an antagonist and feels like a proper final boss when you’re fighting him, he was strong and had a varied moveset that felt entirely unique and powerful to warriors games at the time. It wasn’t till WO2 that things started turning babymode as the warriors franchise collectively dipped in quality for favor of more on screen peons.

I'm more of a sengoku (Samurai Warriors) than a sangoku (Dynasty Warriors) player, only played 4,5 & 6 (DW 5,6 & 7) & I know nothing about the Chinese history. Still I always get pumped up whenever I hear this song XD
I don't know if I'm the only one who notices this, but Lu Bu's Warriors Orochi theme sounds very similar to Dead End from the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series...The beat and the chords seem to match up almost exactly.
@Tyrik73 Indeed. Liao Hua is a very importanat general in my opinion, I'm glad you mentioned him. Like I said though, Lu Bu never fought the Three Brothers histroically. There never was a Battle of Hu Lao Gate. At the time ROTK states the battle took place (191 A.D), Liu Bei and his brothers were fighting off Yellow Turban rebels in the north.
You all need to read the story lol. Lu Bu was the warrior of the day. but was a total coward when it came to politics. He knew he was no one man army and was constantly switching sides to try to secure some glory for himself. In the end he became the ultimate snake, the ONE person you knew you couldn't trust. I Guarantee if given the opportunity Guan Yu of Zhang Fei woulda owned his ass. Despite the 3 on 1 they pulled.
Dávid Elek I heard you can arrow spam him to death in some DW that allows you to use the bow with, say, Zhao Yun. But every encounter in DW4 for me has ended with him destroying me
And yet, standing up to this guy and besting him at a VERY LOW LEVEL is quite an achievement to behold! It's possible, and it's both epic and satisfying. I did it once...and man, was it amazing! It's safe to say that one should not pursue Lu Bu without a strategy and several backup plans...a good horse wouldn't hurt, either. And soldiers. Lots of 'em. Have fun!

They can provide him a challenge together. But neither can defeat his awesomeness. Keiji was orirginally supposed to be the Lu Bu of Samurai Warriors. But was Replaced by Tadakastu when he was made a playable officer. Tadakatsu and Keiji are only compared to the mightiest of Koei's warriors. LU BU!!!!!!!! But Keiji and Tadakatsu are still. Especially Keiji. But Warriors Orochi isn't a fair comparison anyways. Even though Lu Bu is still the BEST!!!!!!!!

Ancient China was way worse than Feudal Japan. On his own he became a Martial Arts Master and the stuff of Legend.
lu bu only got caught during his sleep because cao cao outsmarted him and lu bu couldnt escape and his men captured him as for zhang fei his men betrayed him while he was sleeping while helping his brother thus the battle of yi ling
Also not to say I dislike the normal Halberd, it's pretty badass. I just think the 4-sided one looks so much cooler. And otherworldly weapon for a suitably inhuman warrior
@dapithapon I think all Lu Bu themes are remixes of the theme song to the game. Dynasty Warriors 4 was the best example; the Lu Bu's theme Fire Mix was basically an extended version of the Dynasty Warriors Steel Mix that played in the opening video.

And tadakatsu the greatest deffender of all time was in 50 battles and he never ever came out with even a scratch while lubu had alot of scratches everywhere. in a fight with lubu and tadakatsu.Tadakatsu would win becaus he would have back up.LuBu would be all alone for betraying ETC.

You have yet to face lu bu in chaos mode. he is truly undefeatable and considering you have a forth weapon when you fought him, that is a little unfair saying he sucks.

@flagger780768 The thing is, if Cao Cao had spared Lu Bu he would have been smart enough to use him just enough but always keep him far away. I imagine Lu Bu would have been made cavalry commander and used to subjugate enemies and then given a position far away where he couldn't reach Cao Cao. It's kind of ironic because I think if he didn't die in the way he did, with his background, he wouldn't be remembered today. He would have died in obscurity as just another general.
Lubu must have been a giant about 9 ft tall and carried 100lb pike cause in my culture artifacts, there truly is a weapon that heavy only that it is a version of Guan Yu's weapon Blue Dragon.

@fallen0490 Agreed.Ma chao was tough in dynasty warriors 4 too because he was as strong as lubu and had that Lightning effect around him.I swear Dw4 has the best Lightining effects ever.
lu bu used to have that 1 charge attack that if he grabbed u with it, you might as well start a new game

You have yet to face lu bu in chaos mode. he is truly undefeatable and considering you have a forth weapon when you fought him, that is a little unfair saying he sucks.

@flagger780768 The thing is, if Cao Cao had spared Lu Bu he would have been smart enough to use him just enough but always keep him far away. I imagine Lu Bu would have been made cavalry commander and used to subjugate enemies and then given a position far away where he couldn't reach Cao Cao. It's kind of ironic because I think if he didn't die in the way he did, with his background, he wouldn't be remembered today. He would have died in obscurity as just another general.

Lubu must have been a giant about 9 ft tall and carried 100lb pike cause in my culture artifacts, there truly is a weapon that heavy only that it is a version of Guan Yu's weapon Blue Dragon.
