It really is a great, extremely modern ship, with many new venues and activities. Definitely worth trying out!

How were the excursions by MSC? Were they worth the price, and was it better with them or to go out on your own?

It's like with any other cruise line, sometimes it just makes sense. On this particular cruise we did 1 excursion with MSC (Etna and Taormina) because it would be difficult to do on our own in just a few hours. Otherwise we prefer to be on our own...
