This video makes me feel relieved that it is going to go slow enough. I seen some other videos where it seemed like it would not go slow enough for proper TIG welding but it looks like they may have addressed that. No purging from the bottom side is going to be the next issue I'm definitely going to buy one. It's also a lot smaller then what I thought when you grabbed it out of the box with your hand.
Yoooo. A welding turn table?! Nice! You may not be a "professional welder" or "Dimestackin' Matt" but, I'm still envious of your ability. If I could weld that would help so much. Lol. Great job as usual.
Man that'd be nice to have! When I worked in a manufacturing plant doing tig welding we had massive positioners and it made things so much easier to tig! The real trick is getting used to holding your torch hand in one position and just feeding the rod consistently. I had to fight the urge to move my torch hand to advance the weld
I need to get better that! Maybe even make an adjustable stand to cradle my hand. I could use more practice feeding the wire instead of doing it stick weld style where it gradually gets shorter. Just need to keep a piece around in the office and get use to the motion of feeding it with my left hand.
I've only welded whit mig and only few hours my vevor welder can do tig and stick too but i havent invested in gas bottle yet) but what I've understood from videos your problem is that you arent consistent. You need to move at consistent speed and add filler in consistent rhythm to get those clean welds
Way to hot or too slower speed. But I may just have to get one of these for my home work shop but I may need a bigger one. Do you know if they sell a bigger one? The last few welds were pretty good though.
That's true! Took some time to get the nicer looking welds. Just kept playing with the settings, post gas time, and cfm. They have a bigger one. I just happen to get the smaller one because it suited my needs perfectly. Thanks!

I hear that! Does take practice to learn.
Good stuff. Def a useful tool to have. Still need to start learning with my new TIG.
Time to get after it!
Loookin good dude 🤘 2:27
Thanks!
nice, I was actually looking at these online the other day!
Came across it watching people weld up manifolds and thought sure would be handy!
SWAG - Launch Pad works really well. Main thing to me is to get the arm in a comfortable position to keep it steady
This is true!
Great, more tools to add to my shopping list 😂
lol!

Definitely need more practice. Not something I do everyday, but gets the job done.
Not as easy as it looks is it?
With some hood time you’ll get there, keep pushing!
Thanks! This is true.
I need one I wana run a hx30 super divided 6cm with a spool valve

I thought that but might as well know how to weld all ways.
