This must get the heart pounding, my car isnt set for speed running at all and i got 83mph and that was nerve racking enough lol. 1 day ill try for more.....maybe. Great video.
Voltage drops can drop like that because if your applieing the trigger to fast, you have to gradually apply that's why alot of speed runners use the (perfect pass) from raz shifrin.
@@SpeedBoostRC if you never hear of perfect pass your missing the boat get the chip(I did) and I ordered his carbon fiber kits and wing. And perfect pass springs that right there with his videos is your ticket to 150mpg garunteed
@@SpeedBoostRC ok, I run 6s with a 1717 1650kv castle, I have the power hobby gnss the same just with a different name on it, I ran it today will post video later.
@@dorsettcook Yesterday I installed the 1721 2400Kv motor in my Limitless, double-checked the gear mesh, and powered on the ESC. After it went through the battery cell count, everything seemed fine. When I applied a little throttle, the motor hummed slightly and the wheel vibrated but didn't move. I gave it a bit more throttle, and suddenly, there was a loud pop, followed by smoke pouring out. The motor completely burned up.
@@dorsettcook The wheels didn't spin; they just vibrated, and then the motor popped. Afterward, I spun the wheels by hand, and nothing seemed to be bound up. I checked the motor with a multimeter, and lead A is completely open to B and C. So either something got into the motor and caused a short, or the coils were already shorted and burned up. Fortunately, my ESC appears to be undamaged. I've ordered a new motor, which I should receive by mid-next week, along with my new 2028 1700Kv. I'm going to make my decision on using two 1721 2400kv or two 2028 1700kv.
I have the Zees as well you probably just saved me from buying the cnhl looks like qs8 and smc batteries are the answer. That is a high currant it seems to me I wouldn’t keep running it like that until you make some changes
@@SpeedBoostRCtry a stepped approach. I’d change everything slowly lol maybe batteries and connectors. I’m not sure how that affects the amps but time to learn especially since two 2400s are going in
@@SpeedrunTnRC I'll keep experimenting. I've got a 2028 1700Kv motor on the way to test out. I've been researching, and I'm debating whether to go with dual 1721 2400Kv motors or maybe two 2028 1700Kv motors.
@@SpeedBoostRC either is capable of reaching 200. Lower gearing for the 2028. I finished putting aluminum hubs all around today. Made one 6s pass today. I’m gonna try two max6 combos than go back to one with an xlx2 then 2 before going to one 2400 and so on. It’ll help us pick up on anything possibly wrong as we increase speed
When I watch raz videos the amps are like 250-450 usually and voltage sag is a major factor. The whole hearing batteries up and overcharging the to 4.35 is an art I imagine I’d like to be way faster and familiar before I go that route.
@@SpeedBoostRCok, when you solder them on make sure you plug the opposite connector on the one your soldering to keep the heat from miss aligning the bullets.
I checked the connectors after a 500-amp draw, and they didn't feel excessively hot. Today, I ran a test on my workbench with 35VDC through an IC5 connector to a 2-ohm, 1000-watt resistor. The wires smoked, the resistor got super hot, but the connector held up fine. I'm planning to switch to QS8 connectors, but I don't think the IC5s are really a problem.

It really does. After every run, I fell jittery!
similar to when I used to drag race real cars

Yes, check out MrStreetRacing channel. That was the first channel I ever started.

Use perfect pass what? Whatever I need, I'll get it, thanks.
It's called perfect pass from Raz shifrin, it helps control the throttle. On youtube enter raz shifrin perfect pass, it connects to the receiver

@troymacleod7944 I watch his channel and will definitely buy his stuff. Wing wise, I'm getting a custom one made by StupidRC

Get the Radio link RC6GS, looking good, keep pushing, is that 6s or 8s, what gnss are you guys using?
This was on 8s, and I'm currently using the Skyrc GSM020.
