I'm not sure how many British collectors are fans, but I have warmed to the 55, but it's grown on me. I wasn't a fan, but by the time the mainline red "Holley" was around, I became appreciative.
It's a popular thing in the US but luckily for me, still been largely ignored here in Britain. My most recent (quite cheap) find was the purple 50yr "Big Deal" with green windows/roof on RRs. £10.00 for a CarCulture delivered to my door is reasonable (usually £15+).
Had a great find of an early edition champagne gold loose and got it with a trade.

Finally found this set at Wally Mart. They come in stock very rarely and they only put out 8-10 of them. Both Walmarts near me got 8 in stock on the same day and they both sold out that day. I had to run and grab my set after a failed online pickup order and was lucky to get the last one on the shelf. These are tough to get in my area.
It's crazy how readily available these are now. I'm seeing 6 or more at every Walmart.

I have already seen this set on eBay and two other people showcasing this way before you did... I want to know if anyone knows how this made it to eBay meaning you have to of bought it first to sell it. I see so many on eBay and they are marking them up. There is also another new Team Transport that is on eBay. Walmart does not have these listed online when I search for them. These are not new... They have been out for a few weeks now. The deal is from talking to A woman at Walmart said if you are not there at 7:00 AM they will be gone...
But the problem I have seen is the workers don't put the stuff out or fast enough. It's not always on the shelves in the morning at 7:00 AM. From videos, I have seen collectors take their own box cutters and take the stuff off the pallets if they find them. You have to make sure the scalpers don't get there first. The scalpers just want to make a quick buck. Walmart at my location is not helpful and rude and they don't care about you. I ask if they can scan the item I am looking for and the girl says I don't have my scanner when she just does not want to get it and help you.
The location in Orange Ca. sucks. They can never tell me when something is coming in again. I even call and they never answer their phone. But the location in Placentia does. But the woman said you have to call at 9:00 AM I did but no answer. I have called all hours of the day and no one picks up the phone. I notice when something is sold out they never seem to get more of the popular item again. Walmart is ripping you off online.
I don't know what this will sell for but the Hot Wheels Team Transport sells for $12.97 in the stores. But they have different prices of that and many other Hot Wheels. They are not supposed to mark it up. It is supposed to sell for $12.97 at Walmart. Walmart in Placentia is way better and less crowded but they are never fully stocked and run out of Hot Wheels. The Target in Orange Ca. sucks too... They never have had the Hot Wheels Team Transport until now and it was old stock. All the Targets I have been to are always out of Hot Wheels.
They don't leave their pallets out because they know you will take the Hot Wheels you want. The stores need to keep the Hot Wheels full. One time a kid working at Walmart said to me the people don't care about Hot Wheels. They only care about what is around us meaning the other stuff they were doing was more important not Hot Wheels. It's the scalpers who are mainly taking the Hot Wheels and ruining it for us. The scalpers go to the Grocery stores and take all the good ones. What the scalpers were doing is waiting at the door so when the store opens they take everything. They go every day is partly why there are no Hot Wheels and Walmart and Target give you the runaround when you ask when they will get more in and you never get a straight answer.

Only reason I don't mind the repeats in this case is because the original Team Transport set got scalped HARD. So many TT sets peg warm for months while the drag car sets all get grabbed.

I found 8 (at 3 different times) and only kept 1. I wanted to share so others may get it too, but I fear that i might have overthought it. Most likely someone came swooped them all up after me.

I have never seen a premium set like this in the wild. All the Walmart shelf stockers in the northeast are well aware of hot wheels popularity and/or take the inventory aside for scalpers that pay them off. Also have searched pegs hundreds of times in my area over last couple years and have never found a super. It’s obvious that there is no chance for the casual collector to snag them for a buck.

I have the older team transport version and I am still stalking this down ,but for all those that feel some sort of way, I bet that if the old team transport set were on the shelves, I bet they would still fly off the shelf! Desirable and really cool!

Switch the truck for Wide Open, the Coronet and 63 Nova from DD for the supernova and 55. Perfect set without repeats.
I just called Walmart because I was there a week ago... And I showed this guy who works there and I showed him the barcode and he said on the 7th and the next shipment they would get more of the Hot Wheels Team Transport Black Hole Gasser Set was on the 13th. Well, today's the 7th. I called to save time. Walmart never answers there phone and finally, I spoke to A girl that works there and they still don't have any due to not having a big enough order. So there is another Hot Wheels Team Transport coming out so I asked about that set and they don't have it either.
It seems that if an order is not big enough or if they put an order in and it is too big they have to cancel and re-do the order so then the date changes and it takes longer to get the item in. Then if time passes then they tell you oh, we are not getting that item in anymore when they never have had that order in the first place. When you search for this set or the other Hot Wheels Team Transport set's they are not online except eBay only and they are marking them up to make more money off you. It must be venders or collectible places that sell these are selling them on eBay to make a quick buck.

I live in Willow Grove, Montgomery County Pennsylvania, and i totally agree and experience the same exact same thing in my WM, why Hot Wheels just dosent make enought to ship so every body can enjoy there products, in 1968 when the first ones came out they were a dime a dozen, i had them all then lost interested anyway i have a nice collection now, yea WM frustrates me to no end as well, thanks for you post.
@ Joseph Riddle, How crazy I have a friend named Jeff Riddle who lives near me and he has a Hot Wheels collection from the '60s and early '70s from when he was a kid. Sure... I'm glad this helps you know what is going on. This frustrates me too... I like calling my local Walmart but most of the time they don't answer their phone so then I have to go down there to find out they don't have any and the pegs are bear so then I waste my time. It uses to be I could get them no problem but now I can't get any and if time passes they won't get the Hot Wheels that just come out again. They told me on the 7th that they did not fulfill a big enough order so they did not get any of the Team Transport. I'm hopping on the 13th is when the next shipment is.
I'm only seeing it on eBay and the price is marked way up with different prices. When my cousin lived in Ohio my uncle said he went into some store. I think it was like a Walmart and he said they had so many Hot Wheels. The shelves were full of Hot Wheels. Try the Grocery store like von's and Ralphs. Some times CVS has them and Big Lots Dollar Tree and Ritade. and Dollar General. My local Ralphs has a lot and they refill the pegs every week on Friday and if they get low on Hot Wheels they refill them to keep it full. I think it depends on your location on how fast they sell them. I wish I had a store that sells that many Hot Wheels. Also, try looking up a Hot Wheels Collectible place near you or a Swap Meet or a Flea Market. Watch Ghost jerkers' channel on RUclips. He goes it seems like every weekend and gets good Hot Wheels at a Flea Market with bags full of cars. He found one guy that sold Hot Wheels for 50. cents a car. He usually pays $1.00 a car. Good luck finding Hot Wheels...

@Joseph Riddle, I have gone to Walmart sometimes during the virus and nothing has changed. They never have what I want. Sometimes if you look at the blue card Hot Wheels sometimes you will find something if you search as I do and you are very thorough you will find something you didn't expect. I see so many guys in videos looking for the Hot Wheels and they don't look very hard. I see so many they missed or wonder why they didn't get that certain car. You have to look at every car. Most people run their hands along with the card and they don't see every car. They miss a car because they weren't thorough. Yeah, eBay sucks. It could also be vendors that have space at a collectible place or their store and they put the Hot Wheels on eBay to make a quick buck. Scalpers sell on eBay to make a quick buck too...
A lot of these guys even the scalpers wait every day at the doors of Walmart and Target so when it opens if they do find something they are guaranteed Hot Wheels. They want to make sure they take all the good cars and leave the cheesy Hot Wheels. It is no fun anymore because I watch these videos to see when the Hot Wheels comes out but they never get the Hot Wheels when they are supposed to get them in. It is so frustrating because they don't have them and when you do find them it's only eBay and they are marked way up. I'm not willing to pay that. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for something.
I noticed on Walmart and Target the prices are different meaning Team Transport is $12.97 at Walmart but when you go online you see it for more money than that and if it is $12.97 it is out of your area and they won't deliver it to your door. I even wrote to the president of Walmart and a woman replied to me and I talked to her about it over the phone. I told her how it is in the midwest how they have so many Hot Wheels in the stores and not enough here but as you said they have to fulfill an order.
This is a complete joke. I hope you find the Hot Wheels you want. I thought I will go to another Walmart that I like better and I told the woman on the phone who was helping me what is going on who was very nice and very helpful telling me when she was getting more Hot Wheels in because she takes care of that part of the store. She said to make sure you get to the store when it opens or you won't get any. Well, some people that collect Hot Wheels were not there exactly when it opened and she said Saturday for sure we will have them but when I got there No Hot Wheels...
There was some but some from maybe a month ago... that were picked through. I had to search the dump bend and spend some time to find some. I found quite a bit that was in meant condition but I had to search and go through the whole dump bend. If I did not search the whole dump bend I would not have known these cars were there. I found 19 cars. Here is a video to see. I can't remember if this is the video but if you watch them you will come across the video but this guy finds good Hot Wheels and other cars. He found some for 50 cents. this is called (LET'S GO "PICKIN" FOR DEALS ON DIECAST) He finds really good ones I don't see in stores. He is at a Flea Market. Well, enjoy the video. I enjoy seeing what good cars he finds but I'm also frustrated because I never find what cars he finds. Best of luck finding Hot Wheels...

Thx's Dana, you said it all and now have experience, i was in my WM today and seen a guy who i see before, he told me the black hole set comes 4 in a case and that most likely each WM only gets one case, he also said and told me that if he finds a case or all four (4) he would take all of them, but i have to tell u thuth i admire his honesty, i also believe he is not a scalper, but a very serious collector, he also told me he has collector friends that do the same for him, he showed me pictures of his collection, it was impressive. Anyway, the only time i bought any hot wheel from evilbay was the team trans snake & mongoose, i had the first original set when i was a kid, i just wasn't lucky enough to find on pegs any way i m at no. 1 throu 19 on team transport, now mind u i havent been in my WM in or since covid 19 breakout. Also i live on the East Coast, and the east coast get hot wheels last, this i know from my experiences, so, well, it is what it is, i guess, what can u do, and u tried by calling WM, and by that u have a rite to say what you want to say cause in my opinion you took action instead of just complaining, i hope you know what i meen? An other words, "you voted"!! I think the black hole set might hold its value over time, we'll see? I have rite in front of me the 1996 hot wheels '60s muscle car collection in very near mint condition, and it just about 25 years old, the higest seen it go for was $40 but your rite, most things are only worth what one is willing to pay for. When the lates Drag Demonds came out i was so lucky enough to be rite in Target when the employee was just putting the case on pegs, and one time i found the 2017 camaro ST at a CVS of all places on the peg the very first car, my heart raced like i was a kid again, so i just get frustrated and take the good with the bad, ups and downs, high and the low and go with the flow, it sure is fun most of the time looking for hot wheels again like when i was 8, 9, 10 years old again, no one cared about them except us kids then, ill keep hunting for HW's i guess till i die, everybody have a goodnight and happy hunting.

While repeats shouldn't be overdone, I generally think repeats are good for people who missed the more popular stuff the first time around (especially because of scalpers) and don't want to pay eBay prices for the first release if there's a practically identical alternative.
I wish Hot Wheels would release a new red-roofed BRE Datsun Bluebird 510 at retail for those of us who never found (or weren't collecting at the time) the Vintage Racing version in 2011.

The scalpers take everything that is popular and take the whole stock they have and sell it for as much as they can. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for something. They are hoping you will pay more for it... If you expect to get the Hot Wheels you want like this one you have to be at Walmart at 7:00 AM or there gone because of mainly scalpers but also collectors like yourself. But the thing is they don't always put everything out at once and you won't always see it on the shelves in the morning when you get there at 7:00 AM. And when someone at Walmart says we get this in tomorrow or on this certain date it never comes. You get the runaround... You literally have to go every day to get the Hot Wheels you want or you won't get any. It has gotten that bad.
Yup I agree. I’ve only got certain cars by luck and I’ve gone in the mornings or after work in the evenings

I saw a simple 10pack with at least 5 spaces filled with older models. It's not theft but still fraud.
This pack had a cheap rally car from 2001 TikiRally racer and and old 1977 Dodge Van.
Plus I know who the fraudster is that does this, all so he can sell them loose on eBay for £2.00 each (originally £1.00 from the store).

I just went to Walmart and they now have it locked in a case as they do with the video games so no one steals them. Meaning the Hot Wheels Team Transport. Now you can't buy the Black Hole Gassers and take those cars out because the box shows what cars come as a set so if you put something that does not look the same as the black hole cars they will know unless they don't know or have a clue or they don't care. If it is the 5. or 10. or 20. packs you might be able to get away with that. They don't lock up the 5. packs or 10. or 20. packs. Only so far the Hot Wheels Team Transport is being locked up at my location. The dates will vary when they get the Hot Wheels Team Transport. They also if you look at other videos they have other new Hot Wheels Team Transport coming out soon... I think it's slow getting hear because of the virus...I only buy cars in the package and in the box set. I don't like buying loose cars because you don't know what you are getting. One collector said to go with the guy who has 100% positive feedback but even then he did not realize something until later and got screwed. It's better to buy it new in the box package and what the store is charging you not eBay...
I mean I do love me some gassers but I wish they were a little different in the set. Even if they would have changed the wheels, the color, the theme.... something. I will be grabbing one (if I can find one) but really thought it was a bit of a cop out to put 2 vehicles that have already been released.
But yeah as others say, good luck finding the set, if scalpers daw this already or anyone else. Also they’ll ask to open any box they see out on floor before the staff even have a chance putting on store shelf

This is the best Premium set of 2020 by far. I'm so glad that I got it (probably my last set too).
To me the front wheels on the bel air don’t match up. Some pizza cutters would of been better similar to the ones on the nova.

I am big on 4x4 trucks, but Gasser's just are not my bag, but its nice to see them and they are still cool.
The red stripes of the front of the new version seem to extend up further than the old black hole fairlane

I love this set even if it is kinda mundane with the same paint/deco on each car. Hopefully our local WM will quit stocking the F&F set that no longer sells so these can be stocked.
I actually don't mind transport and Nova being repeats, I wheel swapped my previous Nova so it can be used on track. And when I'm getting this set, I have two transport trucks 👍
So I called my local Walmart and it took a few phone calls then they finally answered. They never pick up the phone. When I was last there at the location in Orange Ca. they said the next shipment would be on the 13th which would be on a Sunday. So I called and they never got the Hot Wheels Team Transport Premium Black Hole Gasser Diorama Set in or the new Hot Wheels Tram Transport Premium Diorama Set either. I never asked about the Hot Wheels on the blue cards because it is probably just the same that they will tell me they got nothing in yet. They told me they have to fulfill an order before they can get something in. They should have to get in a 2020 release when it comes out but they don't.
I called one other location in Placentia Ca. and the first person that answered I could not understand him. I think he had a mental problem that he could not help. He said hold on so I waited what seemed like 15. minutes or more than someone else answered that I could understand and he said no we never got any in. I said how about the 2020 Hot Wheels Team Transport Premium Diorama Set J Case. He said no we didn't get that in either... So I told him what was going on and how all these are making their way to eBay and not hitting the stores. He said to try online but I said I checked Walmart and Target and online and the only place selling these is eBay. at a markup price. I wish he would talk about this in his videos on why the Hot Wheels that become popular are not hitting the stores on time. They are supposed to get Hot Wheels 2020 in when it is released.
I have checked A and J Toys.com and they don't have either of them. Is there a problem getting to the US, because Walmart has to fulfill and order or they don't get them in. Target never seems to know anything except one time I went to Target the managers said the scalpers will wait by the door at Target and at Walmart and when they open they head right to the Hot Wheels section and take everyone they want so then there isn't any and they sell them on eBay to make a quick buck. That is why not every collector can get what they want and because some collectors work at Walmart like one collector said and he was taking them all. This is a bunch of BULLSHIIT... Someone needs to find out what is going on as to why we are not seeing these Hot Wheels in the stores. You need to better inform us as to what is really going on. You know these Hot Wheels guys. They should know what is going on that works for Mattel... I hope you are all able to find Hot Wheels. Whenever I'm looking for Hot Wheels at Walmart or Target I never see anyone else that collects Hot Wheels looking for Hot Wheels just me. I wish someone could tell me what is going on with Hot Wheels.
I never bought the cyclone and the truck that went with it when it came out earlier.... I thought both were ugly..

There is a difference in the super nova gassers. The transport one has the rear tires that read Goodyear on them and the new one does not . Nice video and really cool gasser set.

Get to Walmart early , I found 2 like that. Check your grocery stores too. I live in Az, Fry’s grocery store has a couple transports all the time

When he shows the bar-code how do you use that info to find out which stores carry the set he is showing?
There must be something in the code that brings up info which store locations carry them. That’s all I can guess which he shows bar code. I don’t know what other reason other then if they will receive more in stock or have more in stock at same store

Simply lazy. I like gassers and have nothing against the "Black Hole" theme but... The same truck and the Super Nova, please... Could have been the Ford C-600 and the Dodge Coronet AWB.
