I'm enjoying my haval H6. It very comfortable,smooth,pick up fast and so many alerts. You just need to know the car settings there's more useful info I'm learning on the go. Fuel consumption is normal for me I drive it on Eco or normal mode. I thought this car consume lots of fuel but it within it size. There are so many beautiful cars in the market 😁 we are confused.
The tiggo 8 pro looks more premium, based on looks I’d go for that one. This one looks good too though.
Great review, as for me id choose this H6 hybrid than a cherry. Yess cherry has more seats but the luggage space becomes smaller when all seats are up,and most of the time when you have more people then that usually translate to more luggage to carry unless its just for a short trip. The only let down to this haval is a lack of a spare wheel what if the tire gets damaged and unrepairable?
The no spare wheel route is a no go for me.

Great car, great review too Mr. H6 fuel efficiency is mostly up but I managed to take H6 FWD to Lesotho from Pretoria and I managed to get around 850km in one fuel tank. But I was just intending to get the most out of it with Eco mode and cruise control @ 130km/h all the way. H6 FWD car was a bit annoying with squeaky tires every time I drive off the from standstill. However, I guess with AWD that can be eliminated as more power is shared to all 4 wheels unlike mine with 150kw/320nm all at the front is to blame.
What is the volume of the tank (in litres)?

Hi everybody. If your dealership doesnt disclose, please note that all color hevs (except for white) were damaged by hail ans therefore repaired. They need to disclose this
They told me they dont have any colors except white,now it explains why
I would buy a tiggo 8 if my pockets were deep and i had a daily car that's fuel efficient like a vivo. It just looks fantastic. Betway money comes in handy to fill the fuel pinch. 🤣👍🏿
I love the simplicity of the cabin. A lot of car brand are making complicated cabins which are just too much for me. For me this works.
I’m really considering trading in the normal H6 for the Hybrid, the normal H6 has impressed me since 2021, love the power and comfort. But the Hybrid should be even better and great fuel consumption.

The battery size in the Haval H6 HEV is around 1.8Kwh is very tiny and wont allow you to drive full electric for many kilometres. its only for very short distances at low speed like traffic jams. you will still drive it like a normal car unlike the Defender PHEV which can be full electric for up to 61kms because it has a much bigger battery in which you can also self charge on a longer journery or a home.

Great review but you didn't cover how the battery system works..Can the battery run the car on its own? If so how long does it last? Or is the battery there to just assist the engine? I was hoping you gonna comment about it.
if the bateery is fully charge you can go on batery for 4-5 kms easily on low speed which could be below 60km/h

No spare wheel?? This is me being playful but the silver piece in the rear looks like a moustache😂. Jokes aside, this car still looks great and the fact that the price hasn't shifted is very commendable. Not a fan of CVT gearboxes but you said this one is good so I'll trust your judgement. The rear Led Light strip looks amazing and that sunroof is also great. I've only seen the clear camera in the Jolion so if it's the same on this car then yeah the resolution is proper quality. Shout out to PA for the camera work.

how much is the real torque combined a@1500 rpm?...the specs state 530nm torque @5500rpm...Kia hybrid is 320nm @1500 RPM. Haval is not giving us the combined torque at low rpm...Why?

Please balance me here: So if the batteries are drained you won't have the power from the motor and only be powered by the 1.5 lt engine. Is this noticeable when you drive?
It will never be drained as long as you have petrol and driving the car, whenever you drive the battery will be charging. The one you are referring to is the Plug in Hybrid (PHEV) the one used by Chery in their hybrid vehicle
@@Bless_Mabunda Is the battery being charged using the petrol engine? Picture long distance driving where there won't be much regenerative breaking, will the engine now start to charge the batteries? To me that would go against the goal of saving petrol 🤔 or am I missing something?

@@mrhowmuch yes it told me what I would be paying for the car, which anyone with a calculator knows up front. Cost of ownership is not the purchase price. It’s about what it costs to maintain over time. What do services costs? How heavy is it on tyres? What are common expensive faults?
