This recipe could be made very good if the tortilla was crisped on the outside and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. I feel like a tortilla from a package and the apple filling wouldn't be a good combo, especially if the filling isn't warm.

Whose idea was it to put apple pie filling on a tortilla? And why did they think it was a good idea? (I'm not saying that it was TPT who thought of this, I'm assuming it was on Tiktok or something). They must have been desperate.... Why a tortilla? It's just odd. I mean, it works I guess, since it's "bread", but.... Just eat the apple pie filling on it's own?
It's so easy to make what I call fried apples. Just peel the apples fry in butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. I like mine with fluffy buttermilk biscuits. 😋
Yuck.Get the Ladies some proper sweet empanadas. I like pumpkin or pineapple filled,but I have had apple filled too.Or if that is too hard some French Toast with fried apple slices rolled in sugar and cinnamon,the toast will need little syrup.Peel some hard apples like Granny Smith type,core and slice in thin wedges.Fry in butter,like potatoes,when tender roll in sugar mixed with a little cinnamon or serve without sugaring as a side.
Ladies, I think you should make the apple pie filling, it's good on it's own, or over ice-cream, or something like that. It's just sliced up apples with sugar, sometimes cinnamon (that's most common, I think, but some people don't like cinnamon), butter, and a little flour for thickening. It's best to use tart and crisp apples, over sweet and tender apples. If the apple is sweet, you can cut back on sugar. And you just cook them in a pan like that until they're tender, but not mushy. It's very easy to do and adjust to taste. 👍😊
Oh that's so funny that some of the women want to make it for their kids! I think it's a good idea. When I make apple pie, I sometimes put a bit of nutmeg and cardamom onto the apples along with the cinnamon. Maybe that version might be a bit more familiar and surprising to them?

These would be much better if you crisped the outside layer in a pan after stuffing them. I’ve never seen this before.
I can think of much better things to do with cooked apples than to put in tortillas.,,,

This would be good if you put the apple stuffed tortilla (roti) on the grill to warm it, and then sprinkle it with some cinnamon sugar. The kids would like that!

Even though the tortiila is cooked, eating it this was is like eating an unfinished product... apple pie, no matter who you present it, should be in some kind of a crispy dough to enhance the apple pie concisistency. I love apple pie of all sorts, but, even i would not like this with just a plain tortilla.

It would be better if it was a crepe and not a tortilla wrap. I'm only used to tortilla wraps for savory dishes, not sweet.
Flip one till cooked , then :
Rub just a lil butter, then peanutbutter to taste ( I like kinda alot) then take Honey and squeeze on (to taste) ! Now fold .
