lol, neither buy something else cracked me up. I own a Super Chief and was looking between both of these bikes, I went with the Indian as I love the low center of gravity and the bobbed fenders. I do still appreciate the heritage though.

I really wish HD would make the Sportster S gauge an option on all the softails. I get it, some people like traditional gauges, but they have already put the LED gauges on a number of the softails at this point. Just make it an option. Ride modes, regardless of what traditionalists want to say, are helpful. They've already incorporated them into the Sportster S and the new VVT bikes. Having navigation on the gauge is a huge plus. Most guys are running their cell phones on mounts and honestly, I advise against that whenever I see it. You go down and get injured with your bike down in a ditch or 20+ feet down the road, where's your phone? Right, it's on the bike down in the ditch, 20+ feet down the road or has fallen off somewhere in between. I've seen guys go down and break legs, have a foot amputated, break their ribs etc and having your phone on your person is a heck of a lot better than having your phone out of reach if you ride solo often.

Traditionalists can be pretty stupid. If people are willing to pay, just let them.

One has a front fender. One doesn’t. Sounds silly but if that indicates the direction and basic usability of other engineering or styling decisions, I would take the one with the front fender. H-D. But really, I think probably neither.

Sorry phil ,,, you are incorrect about the Harley test rides. My wife and I walked into Old Town Temecula and gave them our CDL and within ten minutes we are rolling. Riverside Harley , San Diego Harley...BIGGS and several others...every single dealership - find the Harley you're interested in we brought in our own helmets and again within ten minutes we are rolling. So please stop the test ride BS . Enjoy your Polaris , we bought the 2023 120th Anniversary Harley. PS- The Harley dealerships are way better at customer service.

These are demo group rides, completely different than walking in and going for a test ride by yourself. I currently have a Harley but have had Indians as well. Customer service is based on experience. I’ve had good and bad experiences at both Indian and Harley, it depends on the dealership, not the brand.
