Majority of you guys keep complaining that every thing is made out of fondant and rice crispy and “wood” but how do you expect to create an amazing cake with all bread it’s needs some type of durability ... common sense
I agree. Some people just have so much to complain about. Why dont they do it themselves? Lets see how they can support cake on top of cake on top of cake without it getting squished stupid mfs. Lol
I'm fine with the wood, it makes sense but you can't explain the amount of fondant he uses especially on his bigger cakes. If I asked for cake I wouldn't want all the extra stuff that isn't cake.

i wouldnt even care, i love rice krispies. Its a great material to sculpt with thats also edible. these people be complaining about fondant and rice kripsies in cakes, but they are the ones loving fake 5-min crafts and swearing by them.

I lived in NJ for 8 years and then I moved to New England and whenever I told people I was from NJ they were like "wow, that's interesting". Now after seeing some of the customers from this show like from this episode and the one where the people thought they were real vampires and another one where there was a professional mermaid I get it.

Carlos bakery makes this cake called Crumb Cake the scraps normallu go towards making that.
Chamisal Shy-Nae they use the scraps to make cake pops
Most bakeries use re-use scraps back into the cake to fill in gaps, the rest they often use for Cake Pops or they toast it in the oven and turn it into cake crumbs for topping other cakes and such.
Of course they use it! Every good baker knows cake scraps are much more useful then they seem at first glance. :p

I do something similar to larping, but it’s just in a haunted house. This haunted house is more than just jump scares, the actors are interacting with you, in an actual creepy and uncomfortable way. It’s placed here in Canada, in Edmonton. If you ever are here during the month of Halloween I suggest checking it out. It’s voted has on of the best ones in western Canada

I really don’t see the problem with such big cakes it is impossible to make them out of cake and icing and still look good. Most of the time he brings extra cakes with the special one to eat, I mean it is art but you can eat it but it is not like your bday cake. I would love a cake from him! Besides he has so many bakery’s and they all doing great that wouldn’t be the case if it was all rubish
