The story tells how Green Lantern and the Flash uncover a plot by Grodd, an intelligent talking gorilla, to destroy Gorilla City, a hidden city of hyper-intelligent gorillas in Africa. Discovering the hidden plot, Batman together with Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl arrives in Gorilla City to stop the catastrophe planned by Grodd.
