The manga is even better, a quick read too since the chapters are pretty short but the art style of the manga is gorgeous
The title is cringe but I actually loved this anime so much I read the manga. She fell first but he fell harder. Very wholesome overall but it does get a bit spicy in the manga

Um its just as cringe and uncomfortable of a power dynamic as if the male lead was the older party. I find cringe the romantization of relationships between a high school student & a college student. At the beginning of the anime he was 17 and she was 20! 3 years age gap might not seem a lot if both of them were grow up but they are not, one of them is a minor still in high school and the other is a 2o y.o college student
BUT dating a minor is weird in an outsiders perspective, when it comes to dating. So I understand your opinion
@@princessjinni As much as I hate age gaps personally, I still think your logic is weird. How is there a power dynamic in just a three year gap and the older is only 20? I remember being 20, and I felt just as naive and young as I did at 17. Graduating from High School doesn't grant you this magical change in maturity.

Im actually pretty sure the story (for this show) actualy keeps going, apperently there is still more in the manga. Honestly i love that there is a rom com show that actually continues after the two main characters get together.

So KanoKari does have a lot of "story filler" but it is actually progressing in the manga way more than the anime. Season3 of the anime is just over 5 volumes before where the manga is currently.... quite a lot has gone on since the events that happened in s3 in the manga release.
Low-key a fun watch but wish the story continued a bit more into the relationship
The anime came out realitively recently, so this is only the first season, apperently it keeps going in the manga, so we can hope for a season 2 one day.

@@zebras04 i watched it on cruncyroll, the show is called "my love story with yamada kun at level 999" its got 12 eps and has both dub and sub, i watched it in the dub and i really enjoyed it. If you enjoy a simple sort of romcom type story, thats mainly just feel good and vibes, you should enjoy it.

Really loved the manga
I will say this is better than Gamers Anime. While is still a romantic comedy. It's not Cringy and has some more things around gaming.
