Most people don’t find the person they will love until the in high school. This is more realistic than many anime where the leads fall madly in love. When you’re that young you often don’t know what love is

And they both Tell each Other they Love each Other and end as a Couple. Like there is No Point in the Story If they come so Close to each Other and let IT end Like this.
Isnt that kinda hinted on in the story with her friends that no matter how much you want to keep things the same its not how things work out. Sometimes, all we have is that short time with the group of people we are gravitating in the sane place and time with until its over in a flash and you take whatever good or bad that you encounter with you as you move on to different phases in your story. Like the ending of samurai champloo when they all walk away in different directions, it was the end of that story i for one think its a beautiful thing

The moment one of them starts to develop romantic feelings for the other then suddenly the one who doesn't reciprocate is the bad person because how can they lead their friend on like that...even if they both have romantic feelings for one another, if one doesn't want to pursue anything more than friendship with the other, this is as valid as the other choosing to fully embrace their feelings. Yes, confessing to your crush can be hard but sometimes it can also be selfish.
