Super100mph you have the best archives. I was at this event as a kid. The local Holden Dealer took me and it was my first ever live motorsport event. I met Brock for an autograph which I still have, and spoke to Masterton after he spun a bearing and retired.
Up until 1983 the promotors were responsible for organising the TV. For example, in '82 the Sandown round of the ATCC was on Seven, other rounds on the ABC and other rounds had no broadcaster at all!. Going back further into the Seventies ATCC races were shown on 7, the ABC and Channel O / Ten.

This was one of Channel 7's only motorsport telecasts as the ABC was the broadcast host of the ATCC from 1960-1984.
