      A dark secret most women refuse to reveal is that they constantly and intentionally give each other counter-productive advice. It's no surprise then that lesbians will do the same to men who they envy and in a way see as their competition. They will advise men to become sensitive, incompetent, soft, crybabies for the same reason straight women will advise other straight women to stop wearing high heels, dresses and long hair and instead get a bunch of tattoos, shave their heads and get fat. Besides lesbians, the other group which will engage in this sort of warfare is feminists who have dedicated their lives to the destruction of all that is masculine. To grown men this is no surprise, however to more gullible younger guys this trend has the potential to waste years of their lives before they realize that they're dealing with wolves in sheep's clothing.

      @Rockhard1492 Год назад +14

      Not to mention, even the women who purport to want this don't like it. Women are already needy and emotionally charged. The whole reason men and women compliment each other is because men are _not_ like that. Men are the yin to women's yang, the push to their pull, a complimentary relationship in which both cover each other's weaknesses. Making men more like women just destroys that balance and leaves both sides unhappy.
      Most women _want_ a stoic, strong, aggressive man. They want someone who doesn't cry all the time and try to "talk things out." They want a man who is affirmative, decisive, fearless, and strong.

    I said back in 2018 half jokingly stated that the LGBT community would come after goths and claim them to be apart of a unique gender identity. In a way, "queer" is an umbrella term that imho must include anyone who isn't totally conforming to the predominate cultural standards (i.e. Goths, Punks, etc.) Which of course also includes Tomboys and Femboys since they aren't the norm. That being said, you start to realize that normalizing the LGBTQ community doesn't actually mean making more of the population gay or trans, but rather adds increasingly less associated groups to their ideology to artificially bloat the size of their movement even when added groups don't want anything to do with it. It's why the neo pride flag has a black and brown stripe to try and encompass all black and brown people as somehow being apart of the community, despite most people from those groups being neither gay nor trans.

    Normalize (Japanese: ノーマルスキン Normal Skin) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. It is the signature Ability of Skitty and Delcatty.
    Normalize makes all moves (including status moves) used by the Pokémon with this Ability become Normal-type instead of their usual type.
    If Normalize makes Thunder Wave a Normal-type move, Thunder Wave can affect Ground-type Pokémon but not Ghost-type Pokémon, unless the Ghost-type Pokémon is holding a Ring Target or is affected by Foresight or Odor Sleuth.
    If the move Flying Press is affected by Normalize, it deals Normal/Flying-type damage. If the move Freeze-Dry is affected by Normalize, it will still do super effective damage against Water-type Pokémon.
    If a Pokémon with Normalize is under the effect of Electrify or Ion Deluge, all of its moves become Electric-type rather than Normal-type.

This is not unlike straight club sex but in a way it's almost more consequence free because there's no concern for pregnancy or the need to settle down to raise kids.

    Wow, I was JUST mulling over this topic yesterday, didn't realize you were about to make a video about it!
    I landed on a sort of spicy take (Maybe a mild one, depending on who you're talking to, probably too spicy for the cathedral) but I don't think homosexuality should be normal.
    I think it's perfectly fine that homosexuals have the standard legal rights that everyone else has, and no one deserves to be persecuted for their personal life choices or the involuntary cravings of their own body, but there is a difference between persecution and ubiquity, and being gay should not be ubiquitous because it is NOT normal in the strict statistical sense. I think it deserves to be framed as "a thing some people do, but most people don't." It shouldn't be on the same level as heterosexuality, and I don't think it needs ANY encouragement or further awareness raising. If gay characters appear in fiction, like an episode of a kids show, go ahead and give them an episode, but stop celebrating it like a brave and bold decision, and stop pretending it's not unusual or strange, because it really is, and make damn sure you emphasize that it's OKAY TO BE STRANGE. The cartoons of the 80s and 90s did this all the time without overly indulging in the strangeness, like "This guy is weird, and I don't like what he likes, but that's okay! We can still be friends!" (And for the love of the Emperor, PLEASE make your gay characters adults or at the very least teenagers. There is nothing normal or even acceptable about depictions of an underage character's SEXUALITY. Key words: SEXUAL and UNDERAGE. If the story is not about COMING OF AGE then you have NO BUSINESS depicting what a CHILD is sexually attracted to. Come to think of it I wonder if this was the end game for all those people that pushed the "homosexuality is genetic" dogma? Since if you were gay at birth then it would follow you were gay as a child, and thus you might be able to detect it or express it? I digress...) Stop making it aspirational, there is no sexuality that you should ASPIRE TO. Start by not clapping like seals whenever a rainbow person does something basic like win a race or get a job, and stop pretending it's some major breakthrough when good things happen to alphabet people.
    We need to stop "normalizing" things that are NOT NORMAL. They need to be discussed in their proper context and given the proper amount of respect and deference that any other abnormal but acceptable thing should be given, and if it turns out to be unacceptable then fire it into the sun and piss off with the moral relativism you absolute DEGENERATES.
    Anyway, I guess I just reiterated much of what was in the video, but these were my thoughts on the subject. That's all the hate speech I have for now.

      I do think the "childhood friends" trope in romance is very cute, and it's a wonderful detail, but without thinking too critically about it my intuition says there's already a distinction between "puppy love" and full blown romance, but whether or not that sort of thing can or should be expressed in a homosexual relationship, I don't have a definitive take on that.
      If we lived in a society where a character had the option of being interested in someone of the same sex as a child but grew up to romantically pursue a heterosexual relationship without a full blown riot breaking out, I think it'd be easier to answer. As it stands, this one's a gray area.
      To clarify, I am making a distinction between childhood crushes and actual sexual attraction. If there is going to be ANY productive discussion on this subject I think it's important to start there. (Unless someone wants to refute that distinction? Not throwing shade, like I said I haven't thought deeply on it, maybe you have a deeper insight?)

Instead of saying a character was “nerfed” or “buffed”, they were “normalized”, which ultimately meant they were either brought up, or toned down, to be more in the middle of the pack tier list wise.
    The MK community made fun of this terminology and it became a meme. I wonder if it catching on and being used later has anything to do with that situation. Probably impossible to know but would be a pretty funny happenstance.

    This reminds me of an old video my mom showed me when I was a kid. For context, I live in a rather accepting household, filled with different ideas, identities, sexualities, and so on. I am the middle child of 5 siblings, and by sheer coincidence, the most conservative leaning, and staight man of the house. When I was yooung, my mom wanted to teach us that being staight, gay, lesbian, or otherwise, and the same message you say. Its okay to be abnormal.
    The movie was called "Love is all you need" which was about a girl in high school/middle school, living in a world where homosexuality was the standard, the default, and being heterosexual was not only taboo, but according to that worlds Bible, a sin. The girl is in love with a boy, and the boy loves her back, but they can't be together because of there families. She lives in a lesbian household, one occupying the "father" role, the other the "mother" role(I.E. she gave birth to them, while the other made the money) they talk about how a straight couple moved into their neighborhood, and how it might "look bad" for there community. Meanwhile, the girl looks on and stays silent. Eventually, she and the boy are found out, and the boy, fearing retaliation and hatred, decides to fall back to normalcy, being homosexual, and leaves the girl in the dust, as she takes all the blame. The bullying is somewhat hidden from her mothers, but eventually it becomes too much, and she attempts to take her own life, and from there I can't remember what happens next. But the message was a simple one, "Being in love is normal, in fact wanted. Who it is with doesn't really matter that much, so why shame people for it?"
    This video, litterally, unlocked that memory for me, and only now do I realize what it meant. It IS okay to be abnormal, or strange, I myself have ASD and ADHD, I'm the most weird of weirdness. Maybe I'm alone in this, and because of my background, I can accept new ideas easier, and argue for or against much smoother than others. That is a privilage, and its honestly a privilage the LGBT community can even show themselves in public. But if we shed the useless labels, and keep the useful ones, we might just be able to make a more fair society.
    Sorry, I'm ranting, and I'm not wise in this subject, but I am entitled to my opinion, and what I advocate for. I hope you all have a great day, and that you all have long, love-filled, successful lives. Have a blessed day!

People from the outside see something that is interesting and can make them look cool if they interact with it, so they move in and immerse themselves into the area. The thing is that they don't immerse themselves into the culture. They impose whatever they came into the area with onto the residents. They eventually outprice everyone and destroy the cool community that was there before. What Milo said about gay sex made me think about this, it's weird how strong the parallels are. Gay sex used to be a very fringe thing that could make you cool, depending on the time and place, and the gay community had its own very distinct culture. It was its own thing somewhat on the outskirts of society. There was a sense of risk, in a way, and that made it more interesting. But now? It's been extremely normalized. You can go to plenty of places and get screamed at for NOT being gay. Political activists force this shit down everyone's throats, regardless of age or ability to comprehend, they witch hunt and shame. Gay "culture" is just whatever is most degenerate in the traditionalists' eyes. The people who don't partake are just normal people and often get cast out of the gay "community", while the insane activists who aren't even gay are brought in and lauded as heroes. If you wanna normalize stuff, why do people still admire stuff and claim it's Fantastic, Phenomenal, Incredible, Outstanding, Amazing... Stunning and Brave... All these words imply they are beyond the normal, they have qualities that make it SUPERIOR than normal, and by normalizing them, they're void of exceptional qualities.

    A lot of leftist talking points seem to be just steamrolling a conversation before it can even happen. Like "gender is a social construct" is purely just to throw off anyone who might want to say "well maybe gender transition isnt the best thing to do for gender dysphoria" because you have to deal with that nonsensical concept first before we can even have a conversation about that. In much the same way pretending that the abnormal is normal acts a similar shield. Because if we pretend that being LGBT is normal then suddenly that's another barrier before we can have arguments against it. Because if something is "normal" its presumably hard to argue against.

    • @N4chtigall
      @N4chtigall Год назад

      But the whole argument that "gender is a social construct" collapses like a house of cards when it comes to transition. If it's a social construct, then you wouldn't need a transition, right? Because there would be no reason to alter your body if that were JUST a social construct.

      But I think the current definition of trans being basically "anyone not cis" is inflating the numbers, in the same way that percentage of gay people has gone from around 7% in the early 2000s to nearly 25% today, because gay now is "anyone not straight".

      No, I don't agree with this idea that everything bad or annoying that happens in our society is a result of some crazy conspiracy created by rich people. It's not that hard to realize that there is no "big brother" controlling behind the scenes. The truth is that those people on Twitter are shaping the new reality, and as a result, they tie their own noose because they are creating standards that are literally impossible to uphold for normal people. You may be considered an ally, but a week later they move the goalpost, so now you are an alt-right extremist. What I'm saying is obviously an exaggeration but situations like the one with J.K Rowling proved that this community is like a black hole. It's impossible to satisfy them.

How Nazi higherups tortured their own racial policies to keep a few useful "Jews" around, or how the revolutionary Haitian regime declared Poles "honorary blacks" because the few Polish mercenaries on the island helped in their revolt.
    It may be apocryphal, but I remember seeing a quote from Mao about how any successful ideology will have some hypocrisy ingrained into it and I think it's a perfect thing to keep in mind talking about political radicals.

      It's REALLY REALLY important to try to see this issue from both sides. Because I honestly feel like BOTH sides are feeling intimidated by the other, AND, surprisingly, they're BOTH RIGHT.
      Trans people are absolutely being threatened by nutso rightists. But cis people are also absolutely being threatened by nutso leftists.
