  • On these particular vehicles, especially in TX, fans, fan connectors and relays are all high failure rate items. I have found a few PCM's going bad as well because they contain the fan drivers. Make sure you're checking power and ground everywhere. And don't forget the mysteriously placed relays!! :)
    Place to get both relay and pigtail:
    www.rockauto.com
    Radiator Fan Relay(5 terminal) ACDELCO Part # 19118886
    Radiator Fan Relay Pigtail (5 terminal) ACDELCO Part# PT1205
    *Note
    As of 2007 I believe the design and location changed to where the underhood fuse block contains all 3 fan relays

    For 2007+ models please check the connections at the fans plugs. Both my fan plugs were charred from bad connections! I didn't have the relay under the headlight but my culprit was similar due to a bad connection

We replaced just about every part imaginable recently because I was having overheating issues. Any idea what could be the issue?

    foxrecon383, i was wondering if you can point me in the right direction in finding the engine cooling fan wire, my mother has an 07 torrant she bought it total'd the shop that fixed it never hooked up that fan and i can't find the wire anywhere they spliced the trans fan wire but not the engine fan. any idea where the engine fan wire would come from off the harness or would it come from the relay you pointed out in the video any help would be appreciated.

    • @darwinsanjuan6928

      PCM = Powertrain Control Module. I can share to you the schematic diagram and I also made a truth table to show on how and when the cooling fans were “on” and when they are on high or low speed. I took time to trace and understand it when I also had the overheating problem on my Nox 2005.

    Would this problem somewhat fix my AC clutch not engaging? I could of swear that this almost happened the same time that both fans stopped working and I was having issue with my air conditioning not working..

    • @FoxRecon383
      @FoxRecon383  6 лет назад

      Mark Castanos probably not, although they are related. Your low speed fan not coming on can / would cause your high side a/c pressure to climbing and shut off the clutch eventually if the high speed did not kick in.

    • @FoxRecon383
