I love the way you actually test these machines hard! I mean through the trees and bush is really right through showing it’s capability. That is one really strong little ORV!!! I am glad I got to see it tested like this because if it were described to me with these qualities, not sure I would have believed it. What a little beast, and again, great job on reviewing it thoroughly! Job well done!
@@chaboi7 Because P J is comparing it to $10K mass produced pieces, not realizing people build stuff like this from nothing because they basically have nothing... oh, and they're not all caught up in consumerism.
Impressive for the price! I have an older 8x8 Argo Conquest (2014) & the tracks alone cost between $2800 & $5000 Canadian. A set of tires for my model will set me back $2300 because it uses a special "swimming" tire by Goodyear called Runamuk...but in water it is useless, barely able to move & zero ability to steer. Without a set of tracks the machine can easily get into trouble in a floating muskeg swamp. Steering my machine is a chore & maintenance costs are high. Bearings, seals, chains...& lots of lube work....the work is not made easy with tough to access grease nipples, chains exposed to water & debris under the floor plates. I reckon 1 hour maintenance per 5 hours use. At $5k US I would easily consider this as a swamp buggy for moose season...The newer models of Argo equivalent to mine start at ~$20k & that is without the tracks, cage & a spares kit.
A lot of time simplicity is the best option and this vehicle is one of those situations the price is just right for vehicle of this caliber I would gladly have one and represented out here and all across America shout out from the NYC keep up the good work
very nice machine at an amazing price. Its as if it wouldnt get stuck no matter how you tried. Now that you have done a couple cheap production tracked atvs it would be a good time to set up a head to head between them. includeing land speed, water speed, thick mud, sand, hill climb, and traversing trail obstructions like logs and rocks
excellent ,I would take this over a quad for my purposes...does it steer by braking with an open unlocked differential?...God bless brothet...doug (kanada)
i bet these machines would be super popular in africa and southeast asia. they have completely destroyed roads so something as cheap, simple and off road capable as these vehicles would surely attract attention from buyers there.
Almost no ATV can cross Muskegg swamp like that, so for a farm or exploration where you need to transport equipment across really bad terrain, that thing is a bargain for 4000$. Also easy to high center ATV's on snow in the deep winter, I bet those tracks keep it going no problem in those conditions as well. Hopefully that big Lifan engine is reliable enough.
It sure looked like it performed very well. price is real good if one has some land or for hunting and fishing a real good price. the bottom from may need to be a bit more angled and yes the roll cage should be standard equipped . great channel and best of luck.
I don't know about this thing.... If you send one to California I can test it on the Rubicon trail for you to see if its any goood... Seriously, please figure out how to import these to the US. Even if its in Kit form or something.
I am very interested in purchasing one of these, but... can't find any listed for sale, could you possibly tell us where in the USA we may be able to buy one? Thanks for the great video, and I am sure you will have lots of folks asking the same question, so please, tell us if you can. Thanks.
@@RMW Thank you for this information. I will be looking for them to maybe come to the USA soon. Thanks again. Enjoyed watching it and seeking how well it went.
If this ended up in the USA the middlemen would mark it up to twice the price or more, like they did with the Sherp. All the "free trade" with China but no one else it seems. At 4K it's sim ply not worth it to build your own.

This machine is awesome. For $4,000 this is a brilliant bit of necessary kit for anyone going extreme.
OK so where is the USA dealer located for a preview and test drive?
About $4k ! ! Shut up and take my damned money! That is an _awesome_ little ATV for ANY amount, let alone the price quoted in the video!
Junk!

Donn DIY did a great job on replicating this little beast
Worth every penny! It was able to haul 5 or 6 grown men and plow through the swamp.

Great video. Thankyou for showing us an impressive off road vehicle. The dogs went very well too.
+Peter Hanbury thanx for watching!
I like it, and $4,000 is a very reasonable price. Little brother of the Sherp. Wouldn't do a lot of off roading, but would be great for fishing.
Wow 400 I would love to ride one of those it's like a little tank
