@ Feel your loss bud. I was curious so Googled eels around Perth. I think the species was Anarchias Allardicei (Allardices Eel). There isnt much in terms of photos on the web - so I think it’s newishly discovered and quite rare.

Nice one Steve! Your LPS corals look really healthy in your pond. Can I ask what your feeding the sea apple? I’ve been tempted to dedicate a tank to them, but have no experience in feeding them
Cheers Adam I don’t actually target feed the apple but I do try feed the feather star a variety off phyto and zoo plankton. As well as powdered coral food. Crushed flake food mysis and brine. The apple just really good at catching it all. The feather star not so much 🤣
I actually prefer Alveopora, a lot easier & hardier than Gonis, less colour variety but those pink ones where lovely , the difference is the amount of petals on each polyp more than a Goni or it’s the other way around 😂 those scolys where a bargain I paid here £60 for one 😩 have a great weekend Steve 🤟🏼
@ yeah certainly some local bargains for you, big boys here if you can get them are 350-400£ becomes of the ban on importing from certain parts of AUS 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ political bs . Thanks mate 🤟🏼✌🏼
