Oh...!!! No no Fisk... You Absolutely need to move your base to higher ground ASAP. That area WILL FLOOD when you bring rain to the world. Consider your current base to be the bottom of the lake that forms.

The game is a lot of fun, and it would make for a really cool series to see you and the rest of the crew do a full playthrough of the game.

*FYI - The blue chests you find randomly around. The items in them are geared toward your 'level'. if you are a beginner,, you get beginner items.. so wait as long as you can to open them.* I've had the game since it came out 2 years ago.. since then I've made several worlds and am looking forward to a new one with the 1.0 release... so nice to see the game thru fresh eyes.. am curious how many people were yelling at the screen in the beginning when you started building in the soon to be lake tho. lol

FYI -- based on your comment @19:48 about hostile things: They said in their early access notes on Steam that the game WON'T have combat, so the most hostile things you will run across are the meteors. ;) (the meteors weren't actually destructive during ea, but I don't know if that changed for 1.0)
There were hostile creatures as you explore further during early access but nothing that challenging. They haven't removed that concept.
Played through EA and reached endgame multiple times and I've NEVER encountered hostile creatures. They specifically said they do NOT intend to add combat.
I would absolutely LOVE for you to do a series on this, Fisk. So relaxing and satisfying to watch the progression, I also want to play this myself but either way you should definitely make this a SEries lol.

This game has the perfect balance of grind and unlocks, makes you want to just play all day. Would love to see you make a series of this, there is sooooo much to do and the grind gets tougher as you go, so you tend to explore a lot more as you wait for stuff to work.

this is my favorite game and it has only gotten better since early access. It's fun watching you play, as everyone approaches the terraforming differently.

Looks fun, would love to see more. Stick more things from inside outside. I'm guessing heaters and those oxygen planters could go outside. Leave the inside for things that can only go inside.

It's a survival game. Wait until you're nearly out, then eat your first food. That way you know how much a Space Food restitutes.
Study all the equipment you have. You might learn something.
You found out about the 3+2+1, but you still bring a truckload of Air with you?
If you studied the Unlock screen properly, you would have seen the Food Grower much sooner...
(Studying it helps plan where you want to place your effort at any one time. )
Little tip; check on top of the first shipwreck you looted...

Meteorite that just raning down in the earlier game, has sometime got rare material on them that don't find from the place you are now.

You will need to build a new base on high ground, the area you are now will become a lake later on.
9:00 TBH, I was kind of hoping for the Benny Hill song and you franticly rushing to get components here Also I see you learned how materials are "restocked" 😁

This is a good game. It does require a ton of farming/collecting as you progress so just a heads up if you decide to make it a series.

From experience, moving is a pain. As entertaining as it would be to watch you try crafting underwater 😂, you do need to move your base out of the lake. Please keep playing. Hubby & I enjoy your content.

Played the demo for this game the same day it came out and i already new it would become a real masterpiece.
This game is a lot of fun and super chill. Just an enjoyable game to relax, build, and terraform. Ctrl + click will move all items of the type you are clicking on into or out of inventory. Unlocking things is steady, not too much of a drag. Your Big Brain moment with creating a room is an excellent way to explore. Usually you can find the materials as you go to build a room and a door but its safer taking them with you. You can either pick them up or leave them since they will kind of mark those points you will need to refill your 02. I tend to drop a small Solar Panel, storage and the first Crafting Station in these 02 Outposts. The growth and the Exploration is very satisfying in this game. I would like to see your progression through this game, glad you found it. You've done well to quickly pick up on the basics of the game. Cheers.
