I gotta be honest, the way Death steals the spotlight, making Puss, and everyone, fear him is terrifying. The introduction is amazing, his whistle, and that's how scared we are when we see him.

The sickle makes sense later in the movie of course when it is confirmed that he is Death itself and not a bounty hunter. A sickle is used for reaping, and Death is sometimes called the Grim Reaper...
I love the various hints they have in the movie before the reveal 1. Coin in the eyes (Toll for the ferry man) 2. “I was there too witness all of them” 3. “Puss in boots laughs in the face of death right” “But your not laughing now” 4. The Sickles (weapon of the grim reaper)
@@huhhiyahman.5803 Yeah, you are right. The Grim Reaper is depicted usually as a dark hooded figure with a scythe. But a sickle kind of relates to him too, don't you think?
@@salmanazam9444 Both the sickle and scythe are basically used for the same purpose... harvesting a crop. The scythe is a 2 handed implement, while the sickle only requires 1 hand. So, in my opinion, using a sickle makes more sense here... since its easy to conceal in the wolf's cloak and could theoretically be a valid melee weapon in multiple environments (the scythe would be too clumsy and large to wield indoors). So, it keeps you guessing for a while longer if the wolf is only a skilled bounty hunter... or something much more. If they had the wolf wield a scythe, it would have been too obvious immediately, although the wolf does combine his 2 sickles into a 2 handed weapon reminiscent of a 2-bladed scythe like weapon at the end.
