I'm curious as to why someone who isn't at all adventurous with food would want to go on a show where she'll be asked to eat food prepared by strangers whose tastes obviously could be quite different from her own admittedly 'bog standard' ideal. Philip's food looked and sounded delicious - the one who most put himself out to create something really special for his guests - just a shame some either had no taste buds or deliberately marked him down, as the host most likely to succeed.
@@Robin-op8op Ah, yes, I see. That could be it - or as I just saw BamBabyBrenda has suggested (above), perhaps she did it for the money. Not sure what they get paid to take part in these types of shows, but perhaps it made it worthwhile for her.. The prize money would surely barely cover the cost of food and time spent on the whole thing, and it seems fairly arbitrary who wins that prize - not necessarily the best cook/ host.
@@BamBabyBrenda Hi Brenda - just saw your response - thank you for that. Indeed, you're probably right. It's funny that didn't occur to me before - I must be not cynical/ worldly wise enough! You might like to read my reply to Robin, too.
Nicole- “ a human wasn’t meant to drink or eat cows milk”…. Ummm As she slathers the salmon in butter. 🤣 I LOVE PHILIP…he reminds me of the boisterous fella in Four weddings and a funeral … not the boisterous part, just the look. He’s cool! Sam reminds me of a Saturday night live character played by Rachel Dratch
Are they told to be nice to their faces and mean behind closed doors? Cus most of these episodes have that in common. Is it something the producers do?
It doesn't matter, people can eat how they like. I think the way the Brits use their forks and shove food onto them with their knives is too weird too but it's their way. I was taught to turn my fork the other way and only use my knife to cut food, nothing else.
It depends on how the host has prepared or presented it - with cutlery means you can / should use cutlery as you shouldn't tell the host what's right or wrong in their own home.
It’s not an English food. It’s Italian from the 14th century, during a time in which people used their hands. Including the British. Or did you forget that England was a bit late in getting to the Age of Enlightenment party and also had the 700 year war with France with whom they culturally competed with for centuries; with the French winning. Etiquette, that word you’re attempting to educate us in (that’s French etymologically) states that bruschetta, when prepared correctly so that nothing could fall off, and that it’s hard enough to; is eaten with one’s hands. If it’s not, then it may be, It’s not briquettes if’s preference. The pretentiousness of that comment gave you the pretentiousness in mine. Learn, before you judge. Or, etiquette states. One must reserve judgement of others, lest they be judged themselves. FYI, bread should be torn into bite sizes then buttered individually. Just in case you use a fork and knife with that.
I am a good home cook but I wonder what I would serve? I likely couldn't take the pressure. Let's remember there are cameras, light crew, sound man and folks you don't know!
She knows she's loud, people have told her she's loud but I see her making NO effort to even try to not be so loud. Many people that are loud have hearing problems which can explain why they are so loud and then some people are just loud.
My childhood bestfriend was loud, it's just how some people are. Just louder than others. She wasn't trying to be annoying or the center of attention just had a natural loud voice. Super annoying that everyone around them tries to shut them down and silence them because they aren't like them. People like you are annoying for that
Too many "I don't like it" on this show to justify a low score. I'd keep a bar of Cadburys on hand to the guest who thinks all desserts must have chocolate.
Sam was being difficult on purpose, she was just plain rude. Kudos to Philip for the effort. People like Sam don't deserve to be in any competition, they downplay others to win, instead of working harder and making more effort to win. She's a basic snob.
If you're cooking for others, you should wash your hands and/or wear gloves. You definitely shouldn't be licking your fingers and touching the food you're serving. yuck! That's one reason I'm hesitant to eat food cooked by others... I want to know their hygiene standards.
I'm addicted to this show!
“First up and dressed like one of the air vents, it’s Sam” had me no good! 🙃
What does any of that mean in English?
Sam was a spoilt child, a bad guest.
Nice creative writing

Hmmmm..... maybe the MONEY
I would say they were hired by the show to put an small time actress in the show. It's not all reality.

Immediately Sam saw the starter she knew he was the one to beat so she complained through out and low scored him. Joint first is acceptable i guess.
Sam was different on the last night, I believe it's unfair to down score a person because of having food u dnt usually eat
They just do that so they might have a better chance to win.

just for future reference.....they showed the "dairy free" pure spread right next to the bowl she mixed it in
She comes across as a snob
Gosh that salmon looked anaemic and bland
This was a nice group, and nice to each other !!!
I loved this group. They weren't arseholes to one another. They were all great!
Did you even watch the episode, nicole was a B with an ITCH and came stone cold last where she belongs.
What are you talking about?
The best shows were the bickering along with bad cooking. They were entertaining.
zzzzzzzzzzz
One of my favorite episodes. They're all so lovely.
Licking her fingers and touching the food 😵💫
Yeh that's just revolting.
I have seen the same thing in a few episodes; using a spoon to taste something and then use it again in the same dish 🤮
This was a lovely group.
I dont understand Nicole's logic of not using cows milk and yet she is happy to use goats milk ..zero logic there
I'm guessing she may have a hard time digesting cow milk and this led her to that conclusion.
Agree....
Thanks for posting love this show❤️
Sam saw she was losing and threw a hissy fit .
Sam can't be 27, more like 37.
Alcohol
@zozofataso19 wow, really
@@BamBabyBrenda do you just believe a commemt from you tube?

Is the estate agent woman permanently pissed??????
I really enjoyed these 4. ❤
Sweet potato/ choriz soup = Spanish baby food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Enjoying this episode more than other ones

Philip made me smile
I'm with Philip on the desert
Dressed like one of the air vents😂
Please post more of these! We can’t get them in the USA.
They did a come dine with me Canada and South Africa. Too bad they didn't do one from the US that I know of.
I love this show soooooo much. TY for the upload!!!!!
I feel turning the lovely, glorious, perfect sweet potato into a savory dish is an egregious faux-pas.
Nicole is very pretty and went into this with the right attitude. It’s all about good food.
Pity she cant cook any
One does not eat Bruscetta with Cutlery....its a Hand Food

Uhhmmm... I'm all for no dairy... but we weren't made to consume any other animals milk lololol

Sam belong to a loggers cooking competition more so than this one ☝️

Brushetta was a whole meal!

I'm too loud and also hearing impaired. When I have my hearing aids one there's a prominent difference.

Love is not an ingredient!
Everyone loves a British food..lol
I’m w Sam…I don’t look uncooked salmon and I really don’t like caviar! 🤢
i would never contemplate serving warm chocolate brownie without vanilla ice cream
ive never had ice ceam with a brownie...but that plating needed something!
a little pretentious

These people gave us Jamie Oliver Gordon Ramsay. Neither of them know how to use pots and pans.
Philip is hott!!
Something about Sam reminded me so much of Adele. Anyone else get that ?
What common & loud?

It's not Brushetta.....no such word in Italian. It' like calling a cheeseburger a broom. it makes no sense.
Nikol is yummy yummy yummy
That beard was far too bushy -- a couple of inches trimmed off and it would look very trendy (and make him look a lot younger).
It would match your mustache greatly!
@@BamBabyBrenda who hurt you ?
Nikole: "bra off" - then why's she wearing a bra in the bath 😂?
She was in a jacuzzi with her costume on
Nicole needs to knock off that chip on her shoulder. She's very pretendish and very insecure.😢
She’s with a bunch strangers on TV! 😂 I would be nervous and stiff ! Don’t be so judgemental. I found her to be very elegant and classy.
