Love watching someone who appreciates the music listen to an album for the first time. I first listened to this album on cassette in my car. I never bought vinyl because my parent's would have sh*t back then if they had heard it. Always cassettes. 'Peace Sells But Whose Buying' is my favorite Megadeth album. It's not as technically clean as 'RiP', but Dave's vocals and the rawness of the recording just push it beyond 'RiP'. I also love 'Killing is My Business...'. If the production quality of 'Killing...' had been as good as 'Peace...' there would be more fans of the first album. People complain about the sound of the first album. I didn't care back in the day. You just cranked the volume louder until people outside your car looked at you like you are crazy. 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Always listen to The Originals first. If you want to listen to the remasters, do them second. Live versions are always the farthest away from the original

The groove comes from Gar Samuelson who was a Jazz Fusion drummer before joining Megadeth.
There is SO much groove in his drumming
I was 12 when this album came out and holy shit my teen years where never the same. Dave is truly a metal legend a giant among men🤘

To me he is the Thrash Metal king.
The history is well known for sure
Even though i prefer the 1990s lineup, the peace sells lineup is still one of the best
