      You remember the Cafe Columbus too? Loved it there, giant ice creams and cocktails and a free shower if you sat at the end table jutting out into the sea. There and Bar Poncho my two favourite places and now they are both gone. Those were happy days.

    Yes l remember Columbus nice place . Wonder if the pub Tejas Verde is still open , and the ladys in beautiful costume still selling flowers .

    We always used to "dress for dinner" it was a big part of the holiday. A bottle of wine between us with waiters serving the food then a walk to the Poncho for music and dancing and more waiters serving the drinks. Now its shorts and T-shirts, help yourself to as much food as you want then out to the nearest bar selling the cheapest booze. Call me an old fogey if you want, but I think then was so much better than the way it is now.
