Its because the game is supposed to be played with multiple people at once, so they can't be biased by the others answer... but they obviously didn't manage that...
"None of us get seasick". Well, that's funny Hammond because I definitely remember you throwing up on a speedboat somewhere in Norway many, many years ago on the old show!
The production quality on this is abysmal. Not to mention there's no need whatsoever for the white board. They are going to say it anyway and they're explaining themselves... terrible idea
I mean normally you do write it down first so it there's less likely to be any bias, but it only works if you are playing with multiple people at once. But here Clarkson, May and Hammond are not even together so the whole boards and writing for this video is unnecessary and pointless.
I don't exactly understand the need for the whiteboard, but I can respect props, I prefer gorilla masks and leather whips, but I am a man of regal tastes.
you might think the whiteboard is unnecessary, but given their channel name i can't knock'em for the hustle i guess. pretty fun interview, please fix your audio (just at least eq out the recorded audio < 80hz PLEASE), the interviewer wasn't cringe, overall 8/10 more whiteboards please
BTW the adult toy on James may's car was I believe when they were beach-bugging around Africa I believe Namibia to be precise but someone can correct me I haven't view the episode in a while so it could be completely off.
And just watch two men having a conversation that leads to questions and interesting answers? What is this, the 40s? Go watch Johnny Carson you oldie! I'm just kidding to be clear, I agree with you.
I believe such techniques are often used to milk tension. Also I guess it gives the audience the opportunity to play along and guess before a reveal? These shows love their props, they need something to catch more people's attention due to the lack of pretty colors in the background.
On second thought I'm 99% sure they made a video that came out before this one that used clips from all three of the presenters which actually makes some sense to have the visual clips - and the editing in that video made it more natural
Seriously uploaded 4 videos of just ONE interview WITH all three guys, Jeremy's perspective, James perspective, Richard's perspective, then the full video. Prime example of a RUclips channel barely starting out (2k subscribers) and already just proving that their just in it for the money. This is Car Throttle all over again.
I'm glad Richard called them out on why it's being written, it's so pointless

"We want to have a visual element"
*proceeds to hold up whiteboard so the light blanks out anything Richard wrote*
Now I want a show with Hammond meeting students living on budget
"None of us get seasick". Well, that's funny Hammond because I definitely remember you throwing up on a speedboat somewhere in Norway many, many years ago on the old show!
Andrew Webb Jeremy said it was because he drank too much wine the night before lol
@@ObristPlayep Too much gas
I remember that as well - the race to Oslo with Jeremy driving the SLR Mclaren. One of the best sounding cars ... in the world.
Thats because he got blotted on the ferry the night before.
yeah he drank wine the night before where have you been.
I feel like this was made with a $15 budget and Hamster just happened to be in the area. It all works out anyways.
Amazon doesn't pay its interns so it's probably less than $15. He nicked the whiteboard and marker from his classroom.
The interview was okay but like Hamster said what the hell is the point of the Whiteboard?!?!
Why does Richard Hammond look like Robert downey Jr in this video
Shared handsome-midget genetics

When you're playing with multiple people at once the whiteboards make sense. But that was not the case here.
Poor James LOL, The gray haired old lady
Why dont they have all 3 of them here then there is a point of the whiteboard......
Will the wine be chilled on the helicopter 😂
who mixed the sound on this video, its waaayyy too quiet
Turn it up
@@sirfrancisbacon4344 my phone wont even get loud enough to hear him comfortably
You... you control the volume...

I has expecting Hammond to say sh## instead of shocking lol
We survived so on a terrible disappointment, for Topgear lol
2:08 Hammond Amen you are right. Lol

His voice.....
Who made this gig. Why is he writing it down?! Just say lmao. Felt so awkward
And just watch two men having a conversation that leads to questions and interesting answers? What is this, the 40s? Go watch Johnny Carson you oldie!
I'm just kidding to be clear, I agree with you.
why cant he just say and not write it...
because then this could just be a podcast and I could enjoy it while doing something else. wait.

Is it me or does hammond look like he could be hugh jackmans little brother
I think Clarkson named it Sea̶men

The individual ones contain the whole interview, the main video cuts out a lot of it.
its just, sssshhhhhhh...ocking.
Keep the likes at 999
The audio person should be fired
5:40 but Hammond you are getting there , if that vest was alive, it would be screaming in agony
Even at maximum volume, trying to listen to this is making my ears bleed.
