It's over and good looking women and children and think they support terriorist all over the Middle East. Well, run, run fast because the end of your beautiful city is coming soon; no god or religion ever stopped bombs or wars or killings. so sad to watch. Don't vote for murders or leaders spending your money on wars or weapons, spend it on education, on your infrastructure so tourists can visit soon. STOP SUPPORTING THE War MachIne. Stop be so ignorant and bird lame. Mature in you're thinking and seek freedom to wear what ever.

Very cool that you visited Lebanon! I've been twice - and have seen the stark impact of the economic crises over the years. In 2010, it was still an incredibly vibrant, sophisticated place full of contrasts - which makes Beirut one of my favorite cities. You can still see conservative elderly ladies in full burkhas taking a walk on the Corniche and then young, hip and probably secular Beirutis in shorts out for a morning jog. Great culture, food, and other offerings. It was sad to see how empty the restaurants and shops look. Beirut Souks was full of life in 2010, less so in 2019 on my second visit and a ghost town in your video. I also noticed the great white curvaceous Zaha Hadid building near Zaitunay Bay, appears to have been abandonded post-explosion - so sad. All the best to Beirut and Lebanon - an incredible city and country!

    • @thetravelingzam

It was definitely a place of contrasts. I can only speak for my experience of the time period that I was there, but I think a lot has changed from the explosion and economic inflation

Most of the damage from the late big explosion in 2020 at the port of Beirut was due to nitrate ammonia which was stored at the port and a big fire caused the explosion.

Radical Islam destroyed Beirut and Lebanon. Lebanon is a Christian country, without the cancer of Islam, Beirut and Lebanon would be beautiful places to visit. I regret that in my lifetime I will never be able to go there.
