I lost my job of 22 yrs under the guise of downsizing but it seems suspicious that they hired a woman of color not long afterwards. I think that DEI got rid of the old white male.
This is a very simple fix, remove any fields/questions on applications related to race/gender/sexual preference.
So the for news story referenced, The part they left out was the vast majority of those hires were for entry level jobs. Management and ownership was largely unchanged.

Who does the phrase "person of color" encompass? Caucasian people vary in skin color, tone, etc. just as do Asians, Native Americans, and African Americans as well. What a junk phrase.

If you have to hire minority's of any kind to fill a quota or to be more diverse and inclusive, then you are guilty of discriminatory hiring practices.
You are not to discriminate against race, greed, religion, gender etcetera.
Doing so violates laws already in place.
