I clean out my purse every few weeks and wash it. I try to clear out receipts and notes every other day. I carry a small magnifier in my wallet for checking small print. And, when I wear leggings, I carry my keys on a carabiner to hook to my purse strap. No more digging for my keys. I’ve also used permanent markers on some wood scratches.

I use the Old English bottle, not the spray. I pour some into a microfiber cloth. It's easier to get it into the recessed grain and scratches when you can use the liquid form. I just ordered the Liquid Gold spray to compare results. Old English has a dark polish, too, which is a life saver on dark wood. PS Just a heads up that Liquid Gold isn't returnable on Amazon but it has a 90 day return window on the Walmart website. Amazon has gone back to excluding a lot of things from their return policies, like food, liquid medicine, and lots of other things.

I clean out the receipts in my purse to almost every day. My purse is a small cross strap Brighton purse that is like a big wallet. I love having a light purse and if I have to bring anything extra I put it in a different bag that I don't have to carry around. I just leave it in the car.

I have a pottos... an I usethe green food sticks for them in the winter time...I live in New york an now we have winter like you we are cold cold so I take the food sticks an put one in water to deslove so I can spary the leaves... an the one I put in the dirt ...for food for the roots...I water mine once a month in the winter but twice a month in the summer I'll give them more water in the summer than winter time.. lol u have a good hand in growing...I just got my green thumb back...😂😂

Stephanie there were definitely tears shed over here. Crazy how attached we get to hair. Thankfully it’s already starting to grow back. Within 3 months his face and neck will fill out again then I’ll have to get his body trimmed back so it kind of flows ❤️
Hi Jodi, I'm A Michiganer too and I wipe down my wood cabinets twice a year because especially in the winter they dry out. I use old english , it does take some time to dry but works fantastic. That also means I have to do the cleaning twice a year which is a pain because I probably have as many as you.
I have wood cabinets when I mentioned replacing them to a contractor he said maam those are birch and solid anything bought now would not last - I said 33 years old and so he is gonna restain them - said they were too well built to replace - I do scratch cover them and I prefer wood look - love the video - wishing you and family a very Merry Christmas- I love MMC
Pinch back the bad leaves at the bottom. It just makes them grow more. The pothos that you propagated is doing great. It's making roots and then it will focus on making more leaves.😊
Yes you’re right. I’m sure that’s what it’s doing. I should have put it in a clear pot so I could see the root growth because it’s killing me not seeing much growth on top 😂
The cabinets look great. If u need something more coverage or that works for veneer restore a finish works amazing n helps with deeper scratches. But I love the shine the liquid gold gives
Hi Jodi, I have the same type of cabinets. Mine are old too, probably around 30yrs or so. We've been in this home for almost 24 in Feb. It was updated, they aren't the original cabinets. So they could be closer to 40yrs. I loved our kitchen because it was updated but it's a galley kitchen. My other one was bigger, but almost to big. So this one fits us better, since it's just us two. I really love the ❄️ snowflakes, very pretty. Yeah I clean my purse out at least once or twice a yr. Your plants are beautiful great job! I have a pathos one & a spider plant, they're pretty easy to grow. They have babies on a vine that grows on them. Also a prayer plant. The leaves closed up at night. Thanks for sharing. Have used Liquid Gold for at least 5 decades. Twice a year I wash all things wood with Murphy's Oil Soap and then go over them with Liquid Gold. It will soak into the wood in about 2 months and you may need to reapply since you have never done it before. If you do it twice a year after that, they will keep their shine and protection. I use it on my wooden doors, dining set, beds, desk, dressers, etc. Your cabinets look so much .better. Well done! And isn't Mac from Midwest just a hoot????

Ho Jodie. Did u know that if you take a walnut (removed from the shell) and rub it directly onto the wood or even veneer, it will shine up and colour your wood?! Totally natural and cheap and does a great job! I saw it on a cleaning programme on tv and my mum tried it on her kitchen cabinets- worked really well! X

I use the wood markers. That let you color the wood. I use the marker and wipe off with a little bit of water to let it melt into it. I’ve used them even for the bigger areas.

We've used both Liquid Gold and Old English (liquid).In my opinion, Liquid Gold gives a better shine. Love Liquid Gold. Used it for decades. I do my cabinets and furniture once a year. Old English is great too. They have plain and stained oil that's great for damaged furniture. People pay for the antique look. See now you're a genuine farm house look. I clean out my purse once a month right before my social security check comes looking for change because I'm broke 😅

Love Liquid Gold. Used it for decades. I do my cabinets and furniture once a year. Old English is great too. They have plain and stained oil that's great for damaged furniture. People pay for the antique look. See now you're a genuine farm house look.
I clean out my purse once a month right before my social security check comes looking for change because I'm broke 😅
Same here on the Murphy's and Liquid Gold. Do mine twice a year with the heat of Texas drying out the wood.

I cleaned off a kitchen island/counter this morning! At least the top of it. Got rid of old candy (just the 2 of us in the house now) and it was in the pumpkin jar that needed to be stored away.

I love that you called your snowflakes winter wonderland ! I did something similar with dollar tree products(snowflakes,ribbons and balls) for work last year to keep it neutral. But I love yours so so much !!
