So excited! I know this particular model has been discontinued, but I just lucked out on eBay and found this exact model (with the easy serve lid; "flippy lid") for $65! It was brand new, too! Had the manufacturer's plastic tab through the electric plug prongs so it hadn't even been plugged in. Just made my dinner in it tonight after washing it out (it arrived today) and I love it!

I'd like to see a video on all your crock pots. I was wondering what you think of the Instant Pot slow cooking function. And would be nice if you did a comparison of it with all your other crock pots.

There is definitely an adjustment period because the low is genuinely lower than most crocks. I've had my roast and veggies in for ten hours or more and they still aren't tender. I'm not used to it!

Unfortunately, this slow cooker does not have a 'sear' function, which is a shortcoming given that many recipes require meat to be seared before slow cooking. You can get around this by searing meat in a separate pan before adding it to the slow cooker. But this involves double handling and of course more washing up! The ability to sear in a slow cooker is a desirable function.
