    This is the only way to go, I've done the entire job in 3 hours, I just brought the frame down to bare metal and presto ready to weld and even if a spot is missed welding Just not a problem

      Is there a way to just remove the motor and do it?

    • @davidwright873
      @davidwright873 Год назад

      of course. You can spend 4 weeks tearing it down, lifting the engine out...or sliding it out...either or...and putting it all back together....Your time? 60 plus hours...Your pay? zero...😁@@GiuseppeSimonetti

      @@davidwright873 I did it a while ago don't remember it taking 60 hours. It took one day.

      really? then i guess i can alot a week and remain on the safe side....I guess if it's keeping the engine from moving, disconnect it.....@@GiuseppeSimonetti

      @@davidwright873 I don't remember exactly how long it took but we were there an entire day and into the night. It was done though by the morning for it to be ridden.

    Only idiots cut their frame if they dont have to. The real way to do it doesnt take more time than any of the hack ways. You do NOT have to take the engine completely out of the frame. You only have to loosen it and swing it aside just enough to get the stator cover screws off.

    • @GiuseppeSimonetti
      @GiuseppeSimonetti Год назад

      That's how I was gonna do it or put the engine on a bench so I can inspect over it and change out whatever else might need to be done

    Too bad Kawa didn't put a removable frame section on both sides instead of just on the right.

    What exactly is the problem with the stator?
    Does it just stop charging??

    • @NikGarage

      Yes, it stopped charging.

    I have the 2006 model. Drives great but the temperature gauge just stopped working from one day to the other. The radiator fan works. Any advice? Fuses,loose wires, or ....please advise.

    • @NikGarage
      @NikGarage  2 года назад

      There is a temperature sensor that is screwed into your radiator, you may want to start by tracing the wire from it, if it’s in good shape than you may want to replace the temp sensor.

    The nanny switch for the kickstand should be removed, and thrown as far away as you can throw it, or, for even more satisfaction, use a sledge hammer on it. Now connect the 2 wires that went to that POS and connect them together, and tuck the connection out of the way, and everything will be just fine. Do the same thing to the nanny switch on the clutch lever. The key is the best tool for removing the screws that hold on the sidecovers. Gload to see you at least removed the guard from the grinder. Mine went in the trash as soon as I bought the grinder. The engine does not support anything, as it is rubber mounted, so it offers no structural support. ALWAYS use a rubber mallet or a piece of wood when knocking the cover loose, NEVER a steel hammer. While you have the cover off, ALWAYS replace the rubber dampers in the balancer. They will likely fail shortly after you put everything back together.

    Tenho uma Kawasaki vulcan vn 750 ano 1994/95, más ela tem parafusos que permite que esse pedaço que você serrou saia sem a necessidade de cortar.

    Nikitos Garage, cortar el chásis de la moto es una auténtica estupidez, yo prefiero soltar los soportes de motor para poder extraer la tapa del motor donde se aloja el estátor.
