Wow, didn't really have a true perspective on how big the job really is until Tim started filming from the top of the bank. Can really see how deep you have to clear from up there.
These recent videos where you show the same work from different view points really helps add perspective to what’s going on and the depth and volumes you are working with. In videos where the only perspective is from the cab of your excavator it’s hard to see the depths and elevation changes. Nice work!
You guys are going to get pounded. I'm in Lexington and the Weather Service ways we may get a foot of rain here. Please stay safe. I want you around so I can watch you work
you are earning your paycheck on this job Chris, it took 2 moves to get the sediment to the side now loading it seems very satisfying seeing it roll out of there
Let’s all hope and pray the storm isn’t as bad as predicted. Great content be safe. You might be right back where you started if the storm washes your excavation full of more sediment.
Hey Timmy! You got a hellva job goin' here bro! Don't fkit up! Chris is the kind'a guy - with his company - that can take you places - especially with all this youtube stuff. Be to work on time and NO excuses! Hang tite and rock on with LET'S DIG and you'll be rockin' too man.
Best of luck with this storm that's headed your way, it's shaping up to be a whopper. Batten down the hatches and move the machines away from the water. Thanks for the video.
Getting hooked on watching your videos. Kinda jealous of the digging down there. Im up in the north east. Nothing but boulders here. Just did a average size 1/2 acre lot. Between full basement septic and grubbing driveway. Was 27 triaxle loads of boulders. I will get some videos out someday. We have 5 excavators running and all the toys to with them. Thanks for the videos
CourtnRob and run old ladies off the road, blow stop lights, and speed. And when they get a ticket? Work two days for free! Getting paid by the load is usually a joke that gets people hurt.
@@zoidlrrr4633 it all depends on the driver. have done it both ways stay steady dont screw around drive like you know how and nine out of ten times you will get the same load count as if you would by the hour.
for this kind 'a work best one seems 2 be an Bigger Volvo Betsy...the one U have sold...the 290...but 220 is more handy...Hope U do what U must do till the hurricane comes Cris !!!
To Bobby and your family& employees, I hope that everything goes well for you. Here on the west coast we need the rain! I sure hope you can show a video of the aftermath of the storm coming your way. Be safe everyone. You guys are the best at what you do. SWAMP LOGGERS ROCK! 9-13-2018.
i am getting my level 2 certifications right now and your cycle time is damn near 13 seconds every time. and that is cool! i say im doing homework when i watch your videos because you help me with getting a smoother cycle time. so thank you! and fun fact, you have the same skid steer that we do!
After watching so many of your videos with you wearing that 220 like a glove, I think if you ever gave that 220 a name you should name her Georgia cause she's a peach.
Oh. You wouldn’t believe it. Now the Cat guys want in; and they’re suggesting a 994K- bloody showoffs!. I had to explain that a 200 ton loader might put a bit too much pressure on the silt pile. They’re not worried; they reckon it’s tall enough to wade through the pond anyway. They want to send one up by truck. I told ‘em, ‘just send the truck’.
Considering how much clay you seem to have in your area, this sediment looks pretty nice as a topsoil or amendment... Out of curiosity, what do you do with this dirt? (I hope you don't just dump it!)
Amazing how much crap can wash into an area... It'd be interesting to know how many yards you sucked out of there again after you are all through. also, there's some really nice dump trucks there.
You’re not too bad at loading trucks. I am assuming you can’t get a bigger bucket for your excavator. Maybe your boss will get you the right size machine on the next job, or smaller trucks. It shouldn’t take two minutes to load a truck. Only 50-70 loads in one day? How long is the trip time? You should be getting at least 150 in an eight hour shift.
those big trucks have 3 extra sets of wheels off ground ... are those called boogies and when , how are they deployed ? they look like they would allow the truck to carry so much weight , it would be illegal on the highways ? thanks .
Sure thing. This video was recorded on Tuesday. On Monday 50 loads, Tuesday 80 loads, so today Wednesday all Chris needed to do was haul out 670 more loads, probably and hour or two of overtime, for a total of 800 loads. No problem, Chris can watch the storm on CNN on Thursday while he relaxes.
That 220 looks awesome with the tinted windows
Is it just me or is everyone else counting scoops?
lol start practicing
Yes, and I still get off. Guess I need to learn to count to 9
Yes we counting 2...lol...this is my release from people...lol!!!!
God VreY god
Great video!! Your probably loading trucks in your sleep at night. One bucket at a time!
This project would look great under TimeLapse camera . Thats a epic amount of Fill........
Wow, didn't really have a true perspective on how big the job really is until Tim started filming from the top of the bank. Can really see how deep you have to clear from up there.
That is one big freaking bucket on your excavator Chris.....and love the tinted windows on it as well......thanks for all the great videos

Putting a nice dent in it! Enjoy watching you rock out the trucks! Best of luck with the hurricane!
50+70=130 loads - contractor math, watch out!
haha thats the 4 hours of sleep the night before talking
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught that haha!
Close enough right? Lol
You guys are going to get pounded. I'm in Lexington and the Weather Service ways we may get a foot of rain here.
Please stay safe. I want you around so I can watch you work
In Shelby...you are correct
I started my own earth moving business because I watched you too much. Thanks for all the tips and tricks over the years.
you are earning your paycheck on this job Chris, it took 2 moves to get the sediment to the side now loading it seems very satisfying seeing it roll out of there
Hi, Chris, and thanks thats alot of loads of dirt you have to move. Looking good 🖒
Lets see 70 today.. 50 yesterday... so thats 130 so far..🤨
Tim is turning out to be quite handy as a videographer. Gives a different perspective.
Great outside filming, keep them coming chris!
Job security haul it back upstream...
🤔😂😂😂😂
ssssh.... don't be giving away the trade secrets 😅
Let’s all hope and pray the storm isn’t as bad as predicted. Great content be safe.
You might be right back where you started if the storm washes your excavation full of more sediment.
Chris. I cant believe how quick that stuff dries out. Wow
Hope you are all ready for that hurricane, Chris. It's not looking good right now. Real glad we are 5000 miles away. Stay safe, buddy !
I bet there is a ton of people that has learned a great deal of things from you to make them a better operater.
that blue dump truck is sweet. I love that color blue.
Thanks for taking the time to give us those external shots.
Very Nice again Chris, loading out trucks 👍👌
What do you have to do to secure your equipment against the storm?
Put it on a hill and knock over any trees around it before the storm does.
Great looking tint on ur machine
It’s amazing how the tint makes your machine look so much better.
Some nice progress, the end isn't far away! ....13

Mike .R. Ole tripod Timmy, steady as a rock!!
dried up pretty quick!
hope that there is a use for all that fill sand.
Can u do an excavator loading Mack dump trucks video
9 scoops to fill a dump truck that’s awesome our little excavator at work takes like 20 haha
Best of luck with this storm that's headed your way, it's shaping up to be a whopper. Batten down the hatches and move the machines away from the water. Thanks for the video.
Damn people are quick you just posted it already had 9 likes and two comments

Great video Chris thanks for sharing have a great day
Might be a dumb question but how do the dump truck drivers get paid to haul away the dirt. Who keeps track of the loads they haul away?
They keep a load count on their time tickets
They don’t get payed hourly?
Pay them by the load then the drivers have incentive to get as many loads in one shift as possible.
CourtnRob and run old ladies off the road, blow stop lights, and speed. And when they get a ticket? Work two days for free! Getting paid by the load is usually a joke that gets people hurt.

That window tint is gangster af
Stay safe with that nasty hurricane coming through the Carolinas. Hope nothing gets damaged!!! -sending my best Prayers and wishes your way-
that is nice stuff to dig though, not banging away trying to get through it sweet!!!!!
Where is Wilson?
Chris. Keep us updated on how the farm handles the rain like the last big storm. How them pigs fare out though it.

damn you are a verry good operator
Love the tinted windows from outside. 👀 😎

I hope all is well with you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers be safe buddy
Chris stay safe through the storm
I could watch this for hours
Ha, that was ten, yes 10 buckets on that last truck @ 7:57 On the Clock, Chris..!! 😜👍
You drive that thing like it is an extension of your arms.
Hello Chris be careful down there when the hurricane comes
Ive never run an excavator before, before but i love to watch your videos haha would love to give it a try someday
Believe me Chris makes it look easy, it isn't that easy.
Amazing how much crap can wash into an area... It'd be interesting to know how many yards you sucked out of there again after you are all through. also, there's some really nice dump trucks there.
I hope you have a generators, ready to go. Starting tomorrow morning it is just going to get worse till it get done.
Love your videos bro keep them up :)

I hope your Vulvas are covered by hurricane insurance.
misterj1968 lol
It the way some people say Volvo
J.C. O’Neill Contracting that spelling tho🤣
Hurricanes aka money makers for us blue collar workers.
What are you doing with all those loads?? Somebody must have one hell of a hole to fill up!
Chris, if you have a spare moment, would you post a vid with some of your preps for Florence?
BTW, the guys at Volvo have been on the phone. They reckon a small wheeled loader would be a good solution to keeping the sand up to you.
Ted Bell dozer would be better. Tires in sand usually don’t work too well.
Hey man hope u dont get slammed by the storm
Didn’t know Everett’s would travel that far from kinston
Be safe the next few days.
Great video
The drivers are normally paid by the hour by the contractor.Independent drivers are paid by load or weight
love your videos brother keepem coming!
Moving the equipment outta there tomorrow to higher ground to ride out the storm?
I have been watching you clean out a lake. There is a lot of dirt and I was wondering what you could do with it.
So where is all that material going? Is it considered compactable fill? Be cool to see where it's going and what happens to it when dumped
that cut filled back in at the end before last blue truck
How do you keep track of loads by individual trucks, assuming they get paid by the load?
You get to sell the dirt just give it away.they pay you by load or yard to remove.
After the hurricane hits this lake will be flooding over all this work
That last truck looked virgin.
Nice job of pimping out your machine. Limo tint, aka, mirror tint might have looked better. Now for a question. Wouldn't a track loader load faster?
Tomas Keating no, but the proper size excavator would.
Hurricane prep video plz?
So do ya think you'll have to do that all over again after the big storm ???
those big trucks have 3 extra sets of wheels off ground ... are those called boogies and when , how are they deployed ? they look like they would allow the truck to carry so much weight , it would be illegal on the highways ? thanks .
Are you building a new shop using R&R?.
Just found this channel. Where is this dredging job located?
Keep thems videos posteds Chris .
Is all that material going to the same place to be dumped?
Does the excavated soil get sold and by who, if your getting paid by the load?
You think you will have all the dirt moved before the hurricane hits ?
thats funny.
Why bother it's going to most likely flood and ruin this project
Haha lol

dr. Green Thumb So there is a place for the sediment to collect.
was it hard to find a new home for the material you dredged up
go dump those loads, make a pile , park the equipment on top and get the hell out of there
Seems like a waste of good soil. Why don't they use it to build up their property or others nearby instead of dumping it 20 minutes away.
So what are you doing with it all????????????
