i have the exact type of hair as you - literally ... my hair used to be medium density but the Shea moisture JBCO shampoo knotted it so bad the knots came out in clumps and strings which made my hair FINE . i then put so much weave in it my hair became even more thin and tons of breakage . i said that's it i want my old hair back so i looked at old pics to see what i used and it was MANE n TAIL conditioner ! I've been using it in every single wash i have done since may and see a major difference .. i also learned to accept my fine coily curls and shrinkage by using only one styler with a leave in .. i've also learned using certain heavy gels and some creams with fine hair just gives us crispy noodles unless i water it down ( Miss Jessies jelly soft is a good one) . 1 good styling product gives me a medium hold cast and once my hair is fully dry i just scrunch out the crunch, shake and fluff until i get the volume i like ..

I know exactly what you mean by one side comes out better than the other...when I braid my hair in two French braids one braid looks better when I twist out one side looks better even when I put my hair in a ponytail one side of the ponytail looks better than the other...lol Love this and I am going to miss your awesome colors when you go jet black but I understand.👍👍
I love your channel so much! You have the closest texture to mine that I think I will find and even though I never tried one of your routines/styles before, I have bleached and colored hair now so I’m gonna have to make an effort to keep it healthy now. 😂

I think you may mean you lost density. Fine hair means fine strands, not a low amount of strands due to breakage or shedding.
