Hi I really like this pattern! But I didn't see where you showed how to hide the yarn strings in the video from adding different colors. Do you just weave them in?
you do five regular double crochets in each stitch, and once you get to the sixth double crochet, put two dc in that stitch instead of just one. after that do five more regular dc, and put two dc in the same stitch for the sixth one, and repeat for the rest of the row :)
