Both engines are based off the S50 straight 6 so this is actually pretty logical - if you pull up pictures you can even see similarities in the heads and other parts!

I'm curious, did you have a mic under the hood? The airbox doesn't sound this loud In the cabin so I'm trying to figure out if you had a separate mic outside or under the hood and super imposed the Audio in post.

I know this is a very old video and it's unlikely you'll still be around to reply to it, but do you have anything going on with your clutch setup? I can never get my gear shifts that quickly, I always feel like I'm waiting on my clutch. I had my clutch delay valve deleted as well, so I'm wondering if you're running a lightweight flywheel or something. Thanks.
Its hard to say this, but the sound building from low revs is so similar to the sound of the McLaren F1 street car.. biggest compliment I can think of

The S70 is essentially two S54 engines mated together into a V12. It's not surprising at all that they sound pretty much the same.

Not S54, S50. The S70/2 was before the S54 was made, and had the heads based on the European market S50B30 :)@@ThrowingItAway

Notice how he has the windows down. You're not gonna hear it as loud with the windows up. I have the exact same setup.
