Via di Francesco II Assisi to Rom - Franziskusweg 4K

🇩🇪 Der zweite Teil dieses noch weitgehend unbekannten Franziskusweges führt uns von Assisi nach Rom. Mit 250 Kilometer, 7400 hm bergab und 7021 hm bergauf lässt sich die Strecke im Slowtrekking Modus in zwei Wochen bewältigen. Diesmal im Frühjahr zeigt sich die Natur von ihrer schönsten Seite. Vögel zwitschern, Blumen blühen und überall das zarte grün der Blätter und Wiesen.
Rom hat uns nach so viel Natur und so vielen netten Menschen überwältigt. Vielleicht ist es doch schöner, den Weg in die andere Richtung zu gehen?
Wir waren vom 13.04. - 28.04.2024 unterwegs.
🇬🇧 The second part of this still largely unknown pilgrim path takes us from Assisi to Rome. With 250 kilometers, 7400 m downhill and 7021 m uphill, the route can be completed in two weeks in slow trekking mode. This time in spring, nature shows itself at its most beautiful. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming and the delicate green of the trees are everywhere.
Rome overwhelmed us with so much nature and so many nice people. Maybe it would be nicer to go the other way?
We were there from April 13th. - April 28, 2024 on the way.
