sounds like 2 kids < 10 yrs old. gramma and ginga love and need this banter everyday with each other but YOUR BABY SISTER WILL ALWAYS BE 5 YRS YOUNGER THAN YOU and need your big sis guidance and orders. i know. i was the oldest of 3 kids and bossed my siblings around unmercifully. now they are deceased and i miss them. if they were still alive, if i wasn't the bossy, pushy big brother, like gramma is w/ ginga, they'd think i was sick. i love these old ladies and look forward to their new videos on you tube. every family has a gramma and ginga relative(s) in it somewhere on the family tree. they remind of 2 great aunts i had with a 8 yr age difference between them.always was fun to watch them together, like gramma and ginga.

That's a GREAT Idea Donna G! Either to keep at Sheila's or at Grandma's. Can we do a quick donation drive (checks/cash) via US mail or If easier a Go Fund Me. I''d definitely. They so remind me of my Mother and her sister.My Tia. Always spoke to each other so loud & often in Spanish, that my 2 daughters' young friends would ask if they were arguing. LOL! But, closer than anything imaginable and always hold hands or arms when out. Both are now gone; Tia just last March, but has her husband ~ OUR Tio, all 92 years young of him.... I SO miss when our family was SO large.... Anyway, if a new chair for Ginga works, PLEASE count me in. Love you Ladies, VERY much; like having Mom and Tia back.

I know it's a lot of work, sometimes frustration, interfering with your time but I promise you, you both will be SO very happy for these priceless times you had with G & G. What I wouldn't give for JUST "one more day" with my Mom and Tia; ONE DAY!... You both are angels and even if they don't say it; they KNOW it. a go fund me page for ginga's lift chair sounds great. these 2 ladies worked hard in their lives, raised their families right and kept the leash tight on their hubby's. the chairs are expensive. ~ $2000.00 or more. with a drs. script, medicare will pay for the "workings" but you select the kind of chair you want thru your local provider and pay for the chair itself. might as well buy a nice one because you will use it day in and out.i have one due to mobility issues. it makes life so much easier. you can hang on to your walker or cane as it raises your hiney up and puts you on your feet. i found one, a-1 shape,qtip clean( the clean shape i got it in would have made picky gramma happy even) in a local thrift shop for $75.00 and snapped it up in a new york minute 2 yrs ago.love it.again, go fund me sounds great.

@@littletp8787 they don't treat ginga as a joke. Gramma is just the matriach and as the oldest at 103, she has claims. In addition, gramma is their grandmother, so preference will go there.
I loved seeing Gramma working in the kitchen. Ginga was resting so peacefully. I would have insisted on making Gramma comfortable elsewhere.

My wife is spanish and we had very similar experiences with her Nana and her Tia who were sisters and the last of 14 children. Whenever my wife brought food, snacks, or goodies and treats for Nana she had to do the same for Tia Isabel. And vice versa. Or if we gave Nana a gift we had to give Tia the EXCACT same gift otherwise there was hurt feelings, LOL. If we took Nana out for dinner and Tia found out, OMG! The spanish drama would start "You don't love me anymore" and then the tears would start. In 1994, Tia Isabel was 101 when she passed away. Nana passed away 3 months later at 98. We really miss them.

Its always about grandma. Poor Ginga!! she was in the hospital and yet she can't rest where she feels comfortable. Take her home, I'm pretty sure she has her own chair / bed, to rest. You can tell she is trying to be herself. But you can also tell from the few minute snipit that she is tired. I wish Ginga had grandkids to see after her so she can feel as she is number. 1.
But yet, she is still in second place in the G&G race. Get some rest sweet Ginga. you deserve it.
Her son is there helping take care of her.
We only see a couple of minutes of their day. I'm sure Ginga is treated well.

Frank and Sheila always treat them equally. I have seen all of their videos and there is no 1st and 2nd place. Gramma is more strict and particular about thing. Ginga understand that as well, if you had seen other videos you would understand that. Ginga talk alot ( not in a bad way) but I am sure she didn't mind giving the chair to Gramma but she likes to provoke Gramma at times, but they love each other no matter what.
