Great video Sean. Your how-to worked great. No issues with getting a lite version of the license and using your workbooks. It's awesome how much data the PDR collects.
Great video! I have a Gen 6 Camaro with PDR. I've been using a Garmin Catalyst which is great but doesn't have some of the features shown in this software. Onto my question though... has anyone tried this with a Chromebook? I only have Apple products at home. I'm willing to invest money for a new laptop or chromebook but want to keep cost to a minimum. Thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance!!!
Really late response on my part, but the Pi Toolbox only works on Windows. You can download the Cosworth "AliveDrive Race" app which should be available in the Apple and Google Play stores, but it's going to be a limited set of capability compared to Pi.
I was wondering if there was a way to normalize a lap from two different cars in the tool. I have my fastest lap in the tool and have pulled a file in from a friend who is much faster thinking I could compare our braking points and lap times. However the data looks mismatched and I believe it is because our start finish lines are not in the same position. I was wondering if there is a way to compare the two laps in the tool. Thanks for the videos.
Yup. Go to Tools - PDR Start/Finish lines - Edit. Then make sure you have the right task listed at the top and select "use the datum outing Start/Finish line". After you do this, you may need to remove the other outing and re-add it. It works but can be a little finicky at times.
I added a few screen shots about this on my FB page. Also, here is an older video that shows one way of dealing with this prior to Cosworth adding the option. ruclips.net/video/l18R8xS5f1M/видео.html
I recently downloaded 12.4 and the when clicking map-load map- its asking for a circuit file instead of gpx? Tried loading a gpx file and get an error. Any insight?
Yes, those are different file types. The GPX file is what you put on the SD card to define the map shape and finish line during recording on track. You need to create the PXT map file for use with Pi where you can define segments and such. I go over how to create one in this video - ruclips.net/video/9FXMzesdwMg/видео.html.
