MBTA Welded Rail Train Chase on the Worcester Line

Last summer MBTA received a welded rail train with 50 strings of rail from A&K Railroad Materials. 10 Strings were for the North side while the other 40 were for the west end of Worcester Main Line. We were able to chase them on the ferry move from the Northside via the Grand Junction to where they planned to drop on the WML. We got them at CP 11 and in Ashland. The next day, i got the power running light east back towards Boston once they were done laying all the rails. Leading the train was MBTA 1030, one of the final remaining F40PH-2Cs on MBTA at the time.
