Jack Hamm learned the secret to golf and long-driving during a vision quest. As a 16 year-old boy, Jack traveled to the darkest reaches of Asia, where he sought truth, purpose, and the answer to one question: how do you hit a golf ball 500 yards? His journey took him to the Himalayas, where he engaged in a death-match with a 200 year old Yeti. What I'd like to know is how you can hit a bunch of drives with this thing and then immediately switch back to a decent club without shanking it 60 yards to the right on your first swing. Guess that's what separates the pros from the rest of us.
Love these reviews. My favorite was Rick taking the bag of illegal clubs on the course. So funny. The HammerX is a joke to me. The TV adverts are so cheesey. Thanks Rick. You always make these reviews entertaining!

C’mon Rick, everybody knows the hammer long golf balls pick up speed in flight with their quantum glide F-19 super flow technology. You can’t trust the GC Quad.
Does anyone remember the killer bee driver? I'd love to see if Rick could find one! I actually have hit one b4 and it seemed to do the job. It belonged to a kid in the group I was in backnin high-school! Agree 100% these hammer clubs are rubbish! Thanks for the great videos! Look for a killer bee driver and test it please!
Yep! I had one of those! When I got it right it definitely hit the ball further, but I couldn’t find any sort of consistency with it. That longer club shaft was too hard to adjust to.
To be fair, golf pros who carry it 280 with a draw aren’t the ones buying this driver. Clearly it’s ridiculous and doesn’t work but there is still a part of me that’s a little curious if you gave it to a 30 handicap slicer who swings at 80 mph if they would see an extra 10 yards or something and slightly increased swing speed. I highly doubt it but just curious, ya know?
No, it's absolutely a garbage gimmick. REAL companies designing REAL drivers are optimizing with R&D, quantifiable tests, actual demonstrated results - they want 30 handicaps to be successful just as much as tour pros.
With the new technology of club fitting and launch monitors, it is clear that unless you optimize launch angle and increase clubhead speed, as well as improve swing path, you WILL NOT gain any significant distance. Ball matching can produce 10-15 yards on a driver, but that is about all you can gain without improving your swing mechanics and/or fitness. Rick's video proves all of that in a nicely done demonstration - great stuff!
I just can’t imagine how these claims can be legal! This being so, is there no claim that can’t be made? What makes this so much crazier is that this driver has been on the market for years now? I do not understand how that is possible! Mr. Hamm must have an awful lot of cash to throw away
This guy is from my hometown, and for a while it had the shop where he sold this junk. I personally never met him, but according to those in the know, he was kind of thought of as the village idiot.
It's pretty obvious he just buys crap out of Asian manufacturer catalogs and has his Hammer brand slapped on them. Then makes up random claims to sell them. I doubt any of the designs are even his own...just picked from a catalog.
I'm from South Africa. We currently have "loadshedding",but I will send a photo of my clubs,no new clubs, mix. I enjoy them, had some good shots, some bad. I believe the length of my clubs differance, has an affect on my game, even as I try to adjust with each club. No handycap as yet,but enjoying the game. I have seen many clips, however,I like the way the you do it.

I've never played golf but I'm addicted to your channel and videos. Love it! I want to give golf a try but don't have a clue where to start. Do I have to have my own clubs? Do I need a membership at a golf course? I looked online and read about taster sessions but non of the websites for my local clubs seem to mention anything for total beginners.
You can rent clubs at most golf courses. You don't have to belong to a course. You should go to a driving range first, preferably with an instructor to help you get started. Call your local golf course and see if they have a range and somebody who can help you get going. Good luck, and have fun!
Love the channel Mr. Rick,,have you ever tested Bullet clubs? I have the irons that I have used for about 8yr. But I need new woods, and seen where they have an anti slice 10.5 driver, just wondering

I would love to see Rick test the legal version of the Krank drivers to see how they compare to his Ping.
I was never interested in the hammer x but I am very interested in the stand alone putter. I feel like it would help me learn to read greens
This is actually one of my favorite RS videos. Absolutely hilarious!!! I appreciate Rick buying nonsense like this and giving it a go.
I've still got one of those!
No absolutely not. It's junk. Total scam.
No, it's absolutely a garbage gimmick. REAL companies designing REAL drivers are optimizing with R&D, quantifiable tests, actual demonstrated results - they want 30 handicaps to be successful just as much as tour pros.
It really felt like Rick was subtly roasting them for the first few minutes 😂😂😂
I have no interest in golf and yet this was so entertaining and so well done this was a great watch!
As P.T. Barnum famously sed: "There's a sucker born every minute"

These sites remind me of the ads I used to see in vintage comic books. Learn to throw your voice, enormous remote controlled monsters, x-ray specs, hypnotic coins, 100’s of toy soldiers…. All of it crap.
Great jo Rick. Live your equipment reviews. Keep em coming!
Great content as always thanks for sharing!
Brilliant video rick. Would you think of testing the Lazrus wedges seeing adds for them everywhere lately wondering if they are any good. Love the channel.
Don’t forget that Jack “Hammer” Hamm was hitting his 7i 280yds “EVERY TIME!”
😂😂😂😂
Looks great! I just ordered 2!
I'm glad I watched this whole video. I was about to buy this sight unseen based on their claims! :) Great de-bunking skills my friend!
im 3 minutes into this video and im crying. lmao this is the best video you have ever posted.

Pow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That commercial was on at 3:00 in the morning for years.
Ricks club reviews are back and I’m here for it!
Great video. Very amusing.
Love the channel Mr. Rick,,have you ever tested Bullet clubs? I have the irons that I have used for about 8yr. But I need new woods, and seen where they have an anti slice 10.5 driver, just wondering
also depends on who is hitting it, see Alex Etches video on the air hammer review, hits it over 300 yards!!
I was dying laughing at the dude from the website, imagining him sitting in his bean bag with cheeto stained wife beater, empty Miller high life bottles, some full of piss, and all the sudden he gets an alert! Goes and wakes up the wife honey, we did it, we actually sold some of this shit lmao!!
Brilliant video.
Oh my god. Lol. The commercials are entertaining but that’s about it. Thanks Rick for entertaining us!
Thanks for the video.
Cheers Rick. What would you suggest for irons for person that plays 3 times a week? I am looking to upgrade my $300 golf set and looking for better accuracy on approach.
You are BRILL !! Entertaining also.
