Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This RUclips channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

“Jack Hamm learned the secret to golf and long-driving during a vision quest. As a 16 year-old boy, Jack traveled to the darkest reaches of Asia, where he sought truth, purpose, and the answer to one question: how do you hit a golf ball 500 yards? His journey took him to the Himalayas, where he engaged in a death-match with a 200 year old Yeti. After Jack defeated the Yeti with a rear naked choke, the Dali Lama gave him a ring of power, and told him to seek out the Shao Lin monks for training.
It is during his time learning the Shao Lin way that Jack got a glimpse of the secret to power. His Master, Wong Drive, teed up a ball and struck a shot 200, maybe 210 with an 9 iron. He told Jack he must focus his qi, or "chi", and breathe through his eyes to focus his power on the ball. Jack, now able to breathe through his eyes and hold that breath for 5 minutes, traveled back to the US to show the world his long-driving skills. He saves us the trip to Asia by making fantastic products like the Hammer driver and Longball golf balls available for purchase. Jack holds numerous long drive records, can reverse dunk an 11 foot basketball goal, run a 4.0 40 yard dash, bench press 450, is fluent in German, Spanish, Zulu, and 5 Chinese dialects, and during the full moon can levitate...Later that night, had dinner with the world's most interesting man and told him to get a life” from toms4club.com

With the new technology of club fitting and launch monitors, it is clear that unless you optimize launch angle and increase clubhead speed, as well as improve swing path, you WILL NOT gain any significant distance. Ball matching can produce 10-15 yards on a driver, but that is about all you can gain without improving your swing mechanics and/or fitness. Rick's video proves all of that in a nicely done demonstration - great stuff!

I'm from South Africa. We currently have "loadshedding",but I will send a photo of my clubs,no new clubs, mix. I enjoy them, had some good shots, some bad. I believe the length of my clubs differance, has an affect on my game, even as I try to adjust with each club. No handycap as yet,but enjoying the game. I have seen many clips, however,I like the way the you do it.

I hit the Hammer X about 420 yds every time. You have to use all the stuff Rick showed plus the Hammer X mouth guard and jock strap. It's like Rick wasn't taking the extreme distance of the Hammer X 2022 seriously enough. Kaboom baby!

I like the zero friction tees actually. Thee zero friction gloves are actually really good one size fits all gloves. Otherwise it's really hard to find a brand and model that fits XXL right hands.

I've never played golf but I'm addicted to your channel and videos. Love it! I want to give golf a try but don't have a clue where to start. Do I have to have my own clubs? Do I need a membership at a golf course? I looked online and read about taster sessions but non of the websites for my local clubs seem to mention anything for total beginners.

    • @marudebaka6041
      @marudebaka6041 2 года назад

You can rent clubs at most golf courses. You don't have to belong to a course.
You should go to a driving range first, preferably with an instructor to help you get started.
Call your local golf course and see if they have a range and somebody who can help you get going.
      Good luck, and have fun!

The aerodynamic pass through in the face is interesting because it has potential to work if the materials do not flex excessively causing a drop off in ball speed

Years ago I played a charity scramble where Jack Hamm was waiting at one of the holes and we got to play off of his drive. pretty sure he wasn't using any of these products, but I can say his drive ended up in the fairway roughly 75 yards from the green on a 529 yard hole. Pretty crazy to experience it in person.

    • @PioneerAtHome

So you're saying his other shots must be massive to average 400 yards from tee when he has the odd 75 yarders
