is it just me or does this feel like a more optimistic version of junky? the orchestra definitely makes it seem more like a self-improvement song than a venting song
this has to be their best live performance. i was afraid they wouldnt capture the energy in this again sincethis is like a different song from album junky, but they actually did on weight imo. pretty crazy
The strings in this version tho. Really invokes the emotions i was feeling when i was coming to terms with my identity. Back in middle school orchestra robotrippin'
alberto gonzález the words are all slurs and stereotypes that correlate to everyone wearing them. It’s making a statement that they’re owning and defying these boundaries.
I was wondering if they had performed this live earlier today, come home from school and it's at the top of my recommended. This is honestly amazing. I'm typically not a huge fan of Matt's live performances, but this time he fucking nailed it, and I'm so happy he did because that verse is one of, if not my favorite verse from the Saturation trilogy, period. The only problem is that Merlyn's mic is too quiet during his verse, which is just downright criminal.
2:28 and moments like it sound like they belong at the end of the Brockhampton movie. Those strings add so much emotion and story, please tell me a more studio recorded version of this song exists somewhere with those strings.
Ameer's voice is too loud for the stream, probably cut off the crowd. You could hear it when he was doing backup for Kevin and Merlyn too, they would get drowned by his more powerful voice.
hole in the wall idk, some many people came out about ameer and so many accusations are against him and have actual proof, he was being a dick to a girl but so many other stuff came out about him being with underage girls and i don't want some of the stuff to be true but there is so much stuff about his allegations that i don't even wanna get into, when i first heard about ameer's allegations i was denying them and i find it so sad that he's been kicked out of brockhampton because of so many accusations, i wish this hadn't happened.
Kyro what makes it even sadder is that Ameer tried/tries his hardest to become better than who he was in the past and you can hear his distress in his voice in here
I personally like the violin orchestra, it brings an emotional vibe for some songs, like bleach, doms verse on sister, summer, sunny, just to name a few
yo i deadass almost started cryin when they screamed "im a mf junky"
so i wasnt the only one
Akłoz i felt that shit
yeah, that violin was fucking heartwrenching
Akłoz YOTS hype
I cried so much you don’t understand
Matt and Dom absolutely destroyed their parts!
bro what about ameer so dope
i think kevin's part was the best. it was so good with the orchestra and the emotions coming from him
@@rajiv898they trynna censor the greatness
the passion in Ameers voice is just...wow.. his past just bleeds through his verse holyyyyy
Damn ):
It's sad reading this now that he is not in the group anymore
ikr? I'm trying to convince myself that they'd do just fine without him but he brings so much energy and rawness
rip
cuz ameer never caps on the mic
This aged badly
Kevin's verse is so damn powerful. Chills every time
The song is already intense but this version made me almost cry what is even happening
Same it really hit me
i cry 2
This version is so much better than the studio version. The amount of emotion in all their voices and the orchestra make this performance beautiful
This was so amazing. Everyone killed it, but Dom man....just wow.
is it just me or does this feel like a more optimistic version of junky? the orchestra definitely makes it seem more like a self-improvement song than a venting song
Erik no if anything it makes it sadder.
Leo Cachero yeah it makes it’s depressing lmao, I can understand why but it’s definitely a different vibe.
How could this version sound more optimistic to you?
i see what u mean lmao
It’s more introspective but i wouldn’t say optimistic
You can’t watch this video and deny Brockhampton will miss Ameer, what a talent
3:41 .. fr this is hot
Oh man Ameer. Already miss him so much.
Ameer brought so much strength in this performance and the group as a whole :/
GeorgetheGreat yeah, regardless of what people think of him, he bought such raw emotion to this performance.
He was a great addition to the group, but honestly I would never prefer for him to stay after the allegations.
BigJb21 ! Yeah no shit. That doesn’t change the fact he was one of the best members
@@DB-jg9fk he emotionally abused a girl tf you talking bout?
MaikuLaKilla I don’t know how to tell you this chief but emotional abuse still has the word abuse in it lmaoo
wow, ameer looks amazing live
Colin Bross ;(
Ironic_96 yeah, that didn’t end well
Damn bearface did a great job
Joba is so weird, I love it lol
Best musician in the group
“Fuck the consequences I ain’t running from them”
this has to be their best live performance. i was afraid they wouldnt capture the energy in this again sincethis is like a different song from album junky, but they actually did on weight imo. pretty crazy
this is probably their best performance i’ve ever seen
The strings in this version tho. Really invokes the emotions i was feeling when i was coming to terms with my identity. Back in middle school orchestra robotrippin'
how the fuck you playing orchestra off robocough?
I love the words written on their costumes.
whats the meaning
alberto gonzález the words are all slurs and stereotypes that correlate to everyone wearing them. It’s making a statement that they’re owning and defying these boundaries.
haha except merlyn, he just put Wakanda.
alberto gonzález it’s a bulletproof vest because the words don’t effect them anymore, they are invincible to the slurs
haha and Matt's is just Ray since that was his grandfathers name or something
I really miss Ameer it’s so sad I’ll never be able to hear his verse on this song live one of his best in my opinion
The way Ameer says “why the fuck she ain’t listen” gives me chills every time, regardless of him being removed from the group.
bro that was kevin
@@sometimesgavi5993 ameer on the backing vocals
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT DOM HE KILLED THAT LITTLE PART HE HAD
I was wondering if they had performed this live earlier today, come home from school and it's at the top of my recommended. This is honestly amazing. This will always be the best live performance of a song
Ameer is such a baller
thecmbgamers not according to his vest
R.I.P.
He rip. I Will miss his raps.
:(
oberg Why everyone says rip?
What an incredible performance from everyone. Damn, I'm gonna miss Ameer.
I miss these times so much
The strings on Kevin verse... the way it builds up in to that melody near the end... out of this world
This is so intense compared to the studio version like I have chills this is amazing
Wow watching this is so bittersweet
crazy to come back to this now
Look at joba I love him
Chills all over
The strings in this are beautiful. Really love this live version.
Ameer kept sneaking in on matts verse and it fucking broke me.
I’m so mad at myself for never seeing them live. Like I will never get to hear Ameer’s verses...I’m just sad man
"So fuck the consequences, I ain't runnin' from them" was said in such a real way
They did Merlyn dirty. If I was him I would have ran over and grabbed Ameer’s damn mic
lmao
3:41 the amount of times i watched this part
ameer brought so much energy
;(
we love you ameer
2:28 and moments like it sound like they belong at the end of the Brockhampton movie. Those strings add so much emotion and story, please tell me a more studio recorded version of this song exists somewhere with those strings.
Despite the things that happened with Ameer. You can’t say he didn’t captivate you.
Best junky performance
damn ameer
damn ameer :(
The 1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi part Kevin did between his verse and the chorus made the song ten times better. And Ameer, holy shit. I miss him.
I cry every time I watch this
Art.
If I had an option … I would do it all again!
duuu . . . why is the crowd sleeping on ameer's verse?
Spooning Oprah I would say it’s one of his best overall!
I believe the reason it sounds like it is is since this was live-streamed the had it focused more on their mics and that’s why the crowd seems faint
Ameer's voice is too loud for the stream, probably cut off the crowd.
You could hear it when he was doing backup for Kevin and Merlyn too, they would get drowned by his more powerful voice.
EMOTIONAL
this shit is breathtaking bro
ameer we love you
Joshua Bannor we did..
hole in the wall when i heard ameer was abusing girls kinda made me lose that love..
hole in the wall idk, some many people came out about ameer and so many accusations are against him and have actual proof, he was being a dick to a girl but so many other stuff came out about him being with underage girls and i don't want some of the stuff to be true but there is so much stuff about his allegations that i don't even wanna get into, when i first heard about ameer's allegations i was denying them and i find it so sad that he's been kicked out of brockhampton because of so many accusations, i wish this hadn't happened.
No we don't
joshua bannor who’s we lol
😱😱😱
Big up from Poland. We're waiting for the muthafuckin' BROCKHAMPTON.
I actually started crying. Real life tears. My boys are so beautiful
Ameer got Kevin with the backing vocals
And merlyn
the way joba's voice cracks on the third "i'm a mf junky"
This is legit their best live performance thus far
14 days sober
You known that feeling when something makes you genuinely smile?
Ameer :(
kinda ironic ameer rapping along to matt’s verse 👀
was gonna say this lol
i keep replaying matt’s part
I can hardly listen to the album version now, this is so much more emotional and hard-hitting.
easily better than the normal version
kevin with the strings hit me like a truck
I like how they just smashed into the music scene like they were fucking born to do this. Shits dope.
there amazing live they actually rap and sing there whole verse unlike most rappers just jumping around saying a word here and there.
So much emotion. No one does it better than BH.
This felt like their lives depended on it
Best BH love performance ever
chills.
I feel bad for Merlyn, why are the mics always broken?
They have to keep his mic down because to get his sound he has to yell lol
wowwww
This is sad now :(
Kyro what makes it even sadder is that Ameer tried/tries his hardest to become better than who he was in the past and you can hear his distress in his voice in here
Its also awkward as he joins in Matt's verse..
RIP AMEER
its so fuckin gooooooooood
You know the shit is good if it has 1.6K likes and only 9 dislikes.
Mentally im here
3:41 WHEN I TELL YOU....WHEN I TELL YOU MY FUCKING MOUTH *DROPPED*
sick
this shit go so hard!!!!!
The fucking STRINGS DUDE
matt and dom killed it
merlyn and joba's voices sound mixed way too low : /
fuck this song is so powerful
Lil ironic ameer is singing during Matt’s verse
Unpopular opinion: still love ameer
I believe this is BH best performance ever
This is hands down their best preference I miss ameer
AMEER
WHY?!??
Amazing
Without Ameer it’s so different. They sound soft as hell without him
I wish the first part of the song had the same instrumental as it does here, gives the song more variety
God fucking damnn dom
i dont like this violin section, minor critic but the hard beats from rommil was why i loved brockhampton
MaxJeffri23 100% feel u
I personally like the violin orchestra, it brings an emotional vibe for some songs, like bleach, doms verse on sister, summer, sunny, just to name a few
Great performance, but please turn the mics up
Merlyn dancing kills me everytime 😂
This was crazy. Ameer shouldve back off abit on everyone elses verses but this was still amazing
Edit: Ameer pls come back 😢
They gone from takin 2 pills to 6, damn it got that hard
