Have previously edited with different equipment and put a year's worth of family film on one project, so potentially hundreds of clips. Also, can you see audio (speech) at the same time as the action, ie. you can trim according to when a word is spoken and before the next one comes. If you can only see action, sometimes you could potentially interrupt a sentence and don't want to do that. Thanks!
Hello Gripps! As many have said: Thank you! One thing I had to work through: trimming the Auto Music. I wanted to use one particular clip of Auto Music as an intro, but the tail end was a bit too long. I imported the Auto Music clip and exported it as a WAV file. I then added it back in, and applied the "S" trimming method you mentioned at 13:00. Worked perfect.

Great compilation for beginners. I'm still using VS 2018 wich I find very stable. I also have VS2021, now a 75% off offer for VS2022 where do you stop? The user group say's VS2022 due for a big upgrade as it has a lot of bugs. What's install for 2023??
I record and edit video game footage. I do a lot of editing trimming out lengthy transitions in a game when going from one zone to another. Will this program allow me to do that?

I'm making some portrait sized videos with a size of 1080x1920 and it looks great on the editor but when you've exported the mp4 and watch the video on vlc media player, the text is all stretched out over and past the border of the video cutting half the text off. I've looked around and cant find any trouble shooting videos on this issue, could you help please?
So I have a question.....When I put photos in the video line, they show up normal, but when I view them in the play mode, the heads are cut off. I'm afraid that when I render the project that the heads will be cut off like they are in the play mode. Is there something I need to adjust in the size ratio or will they come out normal when the video is made? I did the aspect ratio fit o screen with no borders as you suggested in the training video. By the way, this is my first time using this software and I'm using Video Studio Ultimate. Thank-you
Thanks for the videos G I have put two videos on to the timeline but they will not play back to back only one at a time not like in your explination about droping in videos to get a continuious play back. when i look back at yours you also have a slight gap between the videos i must be missing some explination on checking or unchecking something have got the upgrade from 2019 to 22 has the package not fully downloaded as i look around in the menus there is a lot of items that are not for use can you help thanks
@@gripps2211 Nice Thanks I was watching a couple of your older videos about resetting the library. I just may do that. I think it was your older video on version 5 of Corel. I also commented how I always drag and drop which perhaps I should not do. I guess I'll have to start importing like you say instead of drag and drop to possibly prevent crashes or freezes.
Hey Gripps, I've been using VS 2018 Ultimate since it was new but I really wanted better color correction and color grading tools so I downloaded VS 2022 Ultimate, then I noticed that BCC Title Studio was missing. I create a fair amount of Spline Objects in BCC so I'm wondering if there's a way to import BCC Title Studio from the 2018 version to the new 2022 version? I suppose I could do the color grading and color corrections in the 2022 version, render the video and then do the Spline Object work in the 2018 version but it would be much easier and better if I could do it all in VS 2022 Ultimate. Also, do you know if VideoStudio is working on Bug Fixes for the 2022 version? It is quite buggy and it crashes quite often. BTW, I really appreciate all of your tutorials and tips!! They have been very informative and fun! 🙂 Thanks again, Joe

How do you synchronize your audio to video? I am having problems with audio.
if you have audio separate, use the Multicam feature

Make sure you have project enabled and not clip next to the play button. Let me know if that was the issue
