I have two 30’s Tudor and a coupe. They always make me smile when driving them too.
Getting ready to retire soon and may sell them both so those who always wanted one can enjoy as much as I had for about 12 years now.😁 We become caretakers for a while, and then pass them on…

Great car! This is identical to the 1930 Model A Town Sedan (Ford’s model name for a deluxe ForDor) that I have owned for 65 years. The cowl lights, door closure pulls, window shades, fold-down armrest, robe rope, etc are all unique to this model. Originally a daily driver in Minnesota, now used every week in San Jose. Still has original interior, fenders have been repaired from farm use wear and tear, painted in 1960. Engine is original, with an overhaul in 1964.

Thanks for sharing your videos, it reminded me of my first drives when I got my 31 Fordor, all those same sounds, and all that bouncing around! Yes, I agree even after 3 months owning mine (here in the UK). I have a permanent stupid grin on when I drive mine. You got to grips with the gears quicker than I did! Learning to double de clutch (mine needs it up, and down the box) was a bit like learning to drive all over again, and I'm 76! The right hand leaver is (in your case 'was') the hand throttle. Your modern Dizzy means you don't have to play with the left Advance/Retard ignition leaver, which actually is fun to use trying to match what the engine wants at different rpm. Anyway enjoy your Model A, they are great fun, and other road users are so kind, considerate and patient I have found, which makes a change in our ratty modern times!

I remember when I got my T we took it home on a flatbed and I followed the truck in my Chevette, my daily driver. On the way back to our house the back wheel brake started locking up on the Vette and I had to pull over and free that. Here I had "wasted" good money on a toy and thought my daily car was toast. Anyway had that Chevette for many years after that and still have the T in the garage as well. Old cars are a load of fun and the Fords are great because you can drive them and if something breaks or brakes 😀 you can get parts to fix them.

Couple years ago a friend gave me an extremely rare but near worthless stock low mile 32 4 door orphan car no wood in body. 60 hp, won't go. Mechanical brakes, won't stop. Tractor steering, won't turn. Extremely unsafe in urban traffic.
Upgraded to 300 6, 3 speed synchro, 9" 3:10 gears, front disk brakes, AC, power steering, steel moon roof, proper lights, wipers, door latches and 3 point restraints. Other than 4" lower and 15" wheels looks original. Fun to build and now good for urban traffic and freeway, goal was efficient smoother cruiser. Car weight 2800 lbs nothing to that engine.
Otherwise would have ended up a crap rod or garage artifact. Had to extend the front for the 300 which made it a lot better looking. We all prefer a longer front bit.
