Completely unrelated but my little brother gave me a hug and handed me a flower today cause I bought him his favourite backpack (I'm the happiest ever, love him)
Nah, they're way too bunched up all the time. One grenade or mine would take out the entire squad. Their room-clearing needed work, too. Lot of people standing around staring at each other, not pulling security.
A lot of it also came down to severe time constraints where they only had 5 days to film. Which really really sucked. And supposedly they did have an actual Combat instructor on set, but he either didn't do a good job on showing them tactics or had to rush through them giving how much time they had.
the first guy to die (the one whos throat was cut) is actually another youtuber who goes by "MR. Honestly, not only is Overlord my favorite bit of SCP content on RUclips, but it’s also just one of my favorite RUclips videos in general. I love the story and the production quality is amazing (by RUclips standards). It makes me curious as to what the creators could do with a movie budget.
With a movie budget of $150 million they could maybe afford a couple lights, maybe a couple celebrities and a poorly rendered cgi monster. The rest of the $145 million would go into advertising.
This is a perfect example of what I love about SCP. They give you bits and pieces of information that seem unrelated until all at once it all clicks into place and you realize just how massive all the problems are.
So to give some background on certain things noted, this entire short film was done I believe in like 5 days, because that's how long they had permission to shoot on the land the house was on. So any minor inconsistencies or editing mistakes are to expected, and the director even said that in his rush to film and edit the project, certain scenes were cut or reframed in ways that didn't make sense....such as not clearing that extra room after dropping the cult leader. Even with those minor mistakes however I do believe I can say that this short film is the SCP fandom's "Astartes", something that shows just how GREAT our favorite thing can be when headed by someone passionate about the material and has deep knowledge of the subject matter at hand.

Look, I don’t really say this much cause it’s repeated to death, but you’re honestly a breath of fresh air for reaction channels. And I don’t mean you do anything unique or different. You just don’t overstay your welcome and just enjoy content. And you have great reactions. Many other channels always go for the 😮 and run around the room or point, or they just watch intently through it all. Not saying you don’t do that, but you never let it prolong or repeat. You also don’t create any cult of personality that comes after building a fandom. Basically it doesn’t feel like the outside looking in, it feels like I’m watching with one of my girl friends since your personality reminds me a lot of them. I’ll be sure to tune in to future uploads or if you switch up on us or get canceled (you never know these days). I’m just happy to sit in my chair and watch a good reaction. Not here for a long time, just for a good one.

The coolest part is that they did NOT show the main monster. Because it let's your imagination fill in the blanks and it's a lot more effective at scearing you. These guys are amazing at making horor.

Ok Alicia if you are interested in a full on series to do on this channel and you are invested in Warhammer, then I think you would genuinely LOVE the Helsreach movie by Richard Boylan (though the full movie is under Rostam 40k Archive). It's a grade A MASTERPIECE of animation, voice acting and storytelling of one of the greatest battles in 40k. To call it a long haul would be an understatement and it would definitely need to be multiple videos but I think it's worth it! Regardless you have fun doing you!
Fun fact: some soldiers from around the world joined the foundation because normal war was “too boring” for them. Gotta be a special kind of crazy for this
I absolutely loved Overlord. One of the actors, the guy with the moustache, and who carried the first victim into the hall before they fell is Operator Drewski. He does a lot of Arma, Dayz, and flight sim content, as well as Airsoft. He actually did a really interesting behind the scenes video on filming this, that might be worth watching, if you're at all interested in that kinda stuff.
This movie was shot by an indie team of SCP fans, with a low budget, over a weekend. There's a behind the scenes from one of the guys on the whole thing. A lot of the shots only had one or two takes because they were so rushed.
It's Older but the same RUclipsr made another SCP Movie Video called Dollhouse, that one from my memory was also fairly good and worth the watch if not a full on reaction :)
A really chilling SCP is SCP-3426 Reckoner, by the Volgun. Related to the great filter theory heres a line from the reading as a hook that doesn't really spoil anything "When you hear the screaming in your mind [REDACTED], be silent until you cannot exist". Others i would recomend are SCP-2099 "Brain in a Jar", SCP-1688 "Brain Storm", SCP-1506 "Aerial Arachnids", on the more fun side of the spiderverse SCP-1470 "Telepathic Spider" is quite fun, just an Aussie Spooder thats telepathic. SCP-811 "Swamp Woman" is sorta creepy but interesting.
i've been terrified of being left behind from the rapture since i was a little kid. though usually people think of it as people disappearing so i'm more likely to think i'm damned when i wake up and my whole family is gone but never left a note and i'm just wondering where they are lol
Two really good ones are SCP-2006 & SCP-2112. They more give detail on why an SCP would get the object class it does. Too Spooky would also be up your alley of kinds of likeable characters. I love how amazing SCP overlord is everything from the acting to the ambiance was all amazing and i really enjoyed your reaction to it. Anyway a video I recommend watching if you’re interested in learning about the different MTF units that work for the foundation is the made by the channel MR. ILLUSTRATED that explains all the different MTF units. i was gonna say more but I already went on a bit of rant (sorry) so i hope you have a good day.
This is probably my 3rd ever comment(mostly because I’m a lurker or watcher) but if you want more SCP… then SCP dollhouse is absolutely freaky and fascinating(disclaimer though it is WAY scarier). If you want something more cool or action based SECURE. CONTAIN. PROTECT. Is also really cool if a bit short. And if you want something more interesting or thought provoking then SCP Sedition is a really cool series of interviews with the anomalies.
You gotta focus on their terminologies in SCP cuz if they are doing an operation, they most likely use military terminologies especially from US Like RTB = Return To Base Exfil = Exfiltration (opposite of Infiltration Red Five = Artillery 5 rounds (this time artillery with chemicals onboard) QRF = Quick Response Force
They also divided the units in the barn house to Scepter 1 and Scepter 2 Where Scepter 1 infiltrate and investigate while Scepter 2 provides inner cordon security Nu-7 Hammer Down provides the Outer Cordon security because they are the largest MTF so they could cover a huge area to secure
Fantastic reaction Alicia, hearing your input and thoughts makes all these videos all the more interesting and entertaining. Adore your content and my respect for you. 😊 And happy birthday, all the love from Scotland to you! 😁
This one has my favorite thing about the SCP universe. That mix of cold, calculating professionalism in the face of supernatural horrors. Seal Team 6 vs Silent Hill is just the most interesting thing. You always sort of assume that things go so badly in horror movies partly because the protagonist is just some clueless dork. Like, if they were well trained they'd have way less trouble. The SCP universe shows that that is only _sometimes_ true.
15:45 IIRC the problem was that they had trained the scene multiple times down to the lightest movement, but then when filming the scene came up, they realized that there simply was not enough space for the camera in the intended location so they had to film the scene in the hallway instead of the sideroom, so the sideroom simply wasn't part of the plan.
33:03 Alicia, don’t put yourself down! SCP lore is, more often than not, ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING! Trust me, the reaction you’re having right now is completely valid and absolutely appropriate. Anyone who says otherwise is lying through their teeth. Phenomenal reaction, take care. ❤
Vulgun covering 682 and 999 would be great, since they go together well. As well as the whole SCP: Declassified series wich, they have available as a combined video
Yog-Sothoth knows the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the gate. Yog-Sothoth is the key and guardian of the gate. Past, present, future, all are one in Yog-Sothoth. He knows where the Old Ones broke through of old, and where They shall break through again. He knows where They have trod earth's fields, and where They still tread them, and why no one can behold Them as They tread. - H. P. Lovecraft
fun fact: while they were running out of the room, that guy was not supposed to fall. if you are wondering how i know this, that guy is operator drewski, he made a video of his experience acting in the film and mentioned how he tripped in that scene.
Overlord is one of the best scp content on youtube so I was really happy you reacted to this one :D Also, if you like story driven scp, I recommend you to watch scp-5000 (specifically from mr illustrated). It has one of the best scp stories I've ever heard
@ 31:16 Reminder: Besson couldn't see the camcorder's viewfinder from where he was kneeling so he literally blind fires in the same direction Cicero is shooting.
Completely unrelated to the reaction, but am I the only one to get a kick out of Alicia's intros to these videos? She's so stanced up, or ready for a hug, or letting us know the fish she caught was that big. Idk but I just find it adorable and endearing.
"I'm gonna be one with the sky people. How 'bout you, Dave?" 🤣 This one was fun too. It might just be a me thing, but I like hearing people geek out about what they're passionate about, like you talking about the different aspects of the video? Dunno why or how to explain it. This one looks really good though. I'm gonna have to watch it again. I don't think I completely got it. It's also pretty fun watching you freak out, not gonna lie 🤭
"I'm one with the sky people" while laughing to "No, motherfucker no" and scared in about 3 seconds When She paused, I started laughing because I knew the funny was about to leave real quick.
The is a really cool behind the scenes of this on Evan Royalty's RUclips Channel, and a second along similr lines on Operator Drewski's RUclips Channel. I think you would love the film making angle on both.
I'd recommend checking out Dollhouse, First Contact, and Ghost Town. All 3 were made by the same guy, Evan Royalty. Do keep in mind that First Contact and Ghost Town were both made in GTA, so they may look off, but I think they are both pretty damn solid. Edit: I apparently can't do english
If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure the team (or at least the director) has been working on short film with the youtuber Wendigoon, set in the Stalker universe. Speaking of Wendigoon, that's another channel I would highly recommend checking out if haven't. He makes some great content.

To call it a long haul would be an understatement and it would definitely need to be multiple videos but I think it's worth it! Regardless you have fun doing you!
IT'S NOT A GLOW STICK. It's a chemlight.
Fun fact: some soldiers from around the world joined the foundation because normal war was “too boring” for them. Gotta be a special kind of crazy for this
Lambert is voiced by SCP illustrated. He has an awesome series of stories based on SCP 001: When Day Breaks.
SCP Dollhouse was made by the same group and is just as good.
This movie was shot by an indie team of SCP fans, with a low budget, over a weekend. There's a behind the scenes from one of the guys on the whole thing. A lot of the shots only had one or two takes because they were so rushed.
I'm sorry
LOW BUDGET?!?!??!!
OVER A WEEKEND?!?!?!!!
THIS BETTER THAN DISNEY CGI EVERYWHERE BULLSHIT THAT GET MONTHS OF TIME?!?!?!!
SCP-2006: Too Spooky
By The Volgun or
By SCP Explained - Story & Animation
SCP-2112: And the Meek Shall Inherit the Earth
By Dr. Maxwell - SCP Readings
35:06 i love this part everytime. Dude look at the camera and didnt see anything. But once he heard footsteps, he shot instantly like damn bro just 2 bullets and its down 🤣😂 just tff tff thud lmao
I just saw overlord in my recommended and wanted to see you you reacted to it yet. Made my day.
to answer "arqangel" at 42:56 sceptre 1-1 was lambert, reyes aka sceptre 1-2 took his place as leader after lambert died. also cicero is operatordrewski :D
When you think you are ascending into heaven but then remember SCP:Overlord ending😱
Haven't seen a defense mechanism for fear be screaming "I'm A baby, I'm A baby!" "I'm Dead, I'm Dead" "hehe BJ joke"
You gotta focus on their terminologies in SCP cuz if they are doing an operation, they most likely use military terminologies especially from US
Like
RTB = Return To Base
Exfil = Exfiltration (opposite of Infiltration
Red Five = Artillery 5 rounds (this time artillery with chemicals onboard)
QRF = Quick Response Force
They also divided the units in the barn house to Scepter 1 and Scepter 2
Where Scepter 1 infiltrate and investigate while Scepter 2 provides inner cordon security
Nu-7 Hammer Down provides the Outer Cordon security because they are the largest MTF so they could cover a huge area to secure
Fantastic reaction Alicia, hearing your input and thoughts makes all these videos all the more interesting and entertaining. Adore your content and my respect for you. 😊
And happy birthday, all the love from Scotland to you! 😁
Yee hee hee
the one I recommended was well received...
I'm happy~
that is all
This one has my favorite thing about the SCP universe.
I am guessing her coping mechanism when afraid is to make dirty jokes?
I spent 75% of this video feeling anxious and the other 25% freaking out. 10/10 would watch again.
Vulgun covering 682 and 999 would be great, since they go together well.
As well as the whole SCP: Declassified series wich, they have available as a combined video
999 is here.
Great video. Now all that is left is SCP Dollhouse, and check out the SCP read on the red sea object.
Now is a good time for some palette cleansers. I'll get a list going: SCP-999, SCP-294, SCP-3375, SCP-2295, SCP-2300, SCP-1471
Overlord is one of the best scp content on youtube so I was really happy you reacted to this one :D
Also, if you like story driven scp, I recommend you to watch scp-5000 (specifically from mr illustrated). It has one of the best scp stories I've ever heard
10:27
The flashing is also realistic as I believe that some militaries use infrared shit to identify friend or foe.
Some of the best comedy stories in scp is “things Dr Bright is not allowed to do”
Not anymore. Dr Bright's writer got caught doing pedo stuff with his author account.
@ 31:16 Reminder: Besson couldn't see the camcorder's viewfinder from where he was kneeling so he literally blind fires in the same direction Cicero is shooting.
Oh boy just a few more SCP and we can show her a few 001 proposals
Completely unrelated to the reaction, but am I the only one to get a kick out of Alicia's intros to these videos? She's so stanced up, or ready for a hug, or letting us know the fish she caught was that big.
Idk but I just find it adorable and endearing.
I highly recommend SCP-049 or the plauge doctor! One of my favorites next to 682
"I'm gonna be one with the sky people.
Film Theory: The Hidden LORE of Skibidi Toilet!
Me and my cthulu homies always love to hang out (:
"I'm one with the sky people" while laughing to "No, motherfucker no" and scared in about 3 seconds
When She paused, I started laughing because I knew the funny was about to leave real quick.
I think you would really enjoy this person's other work SCP Dollhouse.
18:15 Ok, you've demoted from goblin to gremlin. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
24:04 A gremlin baby.
15:30 - That little touch tickled me, "bogey" (unknown) not confirmed to be a "bandit" (baddie).
in air force terms, isn't "bandit" both for unknowns and for hostiles?
Fun Fact: Due to the fan file taking place in Hampshire County, than this has to be either in Massachusetts or West Virginia.
Again, very cool little animated series by Lord Bung '' Confinement ''. Very cool
The is a really cool behind the scenes of this on Evan Royalty's RUclips Channel, and a second along similr lines on Operator Drewski's RUclips Channel. I think you would love the film making angle on both.
Most of scp is so amazing. It’s both sci-fi and supernatural. But there’s also some stories that just sounds like it’s gore for gores sake
SCP-682 vs SCP-106 springs to mind.
Their gears were of course personalized... These guys were airsoft players...😂
They were hired to do these SCP movies...
If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure the team (or at least the director) has been working on short film with the youtuber Wendigoon, set in the Stalker universe.
Speaking of Wendigoon, that's another channel I would highly recommend checking out if haven't. He makes some great content.
Seconded on watching Wendigoon, he has excellent content
Next stop: Dollhouse
Exploring the SCP Foundation: SCP-3043 - Murphy Law in… Type 3043 - FOR MURDER!
Exploring the SCP Foundation: Murphy Law in…Skip 7043 -THE MONTAUK FALCON - Part One/two
or just SCP-3143 Murphy Law in The Foundation Always Rings Twice
just curious to how you would react to the vibes of the characters tbh
u rly have to react to SCP-5000, the story in this one is absolutely insane and really good. so many misteries, lot of scp's, and with a crazy twist aswell.
im sure after u find out/watch/or even read about this scp u will keep asking "Why?" after u knew abt it lol.
lots of connection to other SCP.
i can assure it won't be disappointing.
try this , my favourite scp : SCP-999 - The Tickle Monster
There are a few other good scp short films 'First Contact', 'Ghost Town', and 'Doll House'
Ooo yes overlord. Knowing you were jumping in scp 096 I'm expecting full on pauses with 30 nopes constantly
You mentioned wanting more stuff from behind the scenes in the last reaction. OperatorDrewski has good behind the scenes video on this one.
Alicia through half the vid "mum get the camera!" 😂
