It's great to hear that you enjoy hearing/seeing us! We love flying in this area. It's absolutely stunning and looking at the scenery over the wing of a Spitfire is a "pinch yourself" moment! Thank you for your support. ☺️
Great video thank you. My late father often spoke of flying and very similar landing procedure also. He was a Spitfire fighter Ace with 81 Sqn RAF during WW11. He used to say a fighter pilots survival in battle was a matter of "the quick or the dead". RIP. Larry Cronin Jnr
Thank you! It's very interesting to hear that you have a familial relationship with flying and WWII. We hope this video was of interest to you. Thank you again. ☺️
Really pleased to hear you enjoyed the video and that you found it informative! We hope to create more videos like this, so we hope you enjoy any future releases we share on here! Thank you for your support. 🙏☺️
Lovely video and some nice info. I was lucky enough to fly in MJ627 (piloted by Jon Cooke) for my 50th. Easily the best experience of my life and would absolutely love to do it again one day! Thoroughly recommend the experience for anyone who maybe sitting on the fence about going for it 😊
Glad you enjoyed the video! It's lovely to hear you've flown in MJ627! You're part of a very special club. ☺️ Let us know when you're ready to fly again! We'd love to fly you from the last all grass Battle of Britain airfield on the south coast; Goodwood Aerodrome! 😃
I’m very lucky indeed. As for a flight from Goodwood, that would be an absolute dream! Alas, I may need to await for the next big milestone birthday for that 😊
Great video Neil, thanks for sharing. This may seem like a silly question but how do you get on with the spitfire control column? I always look at it and think I sort of wish it was a standard stick type? I guess it just takes some geting used to !
Excellent commentary.
More of these types of vid. svp.
Thank you! We'll pass that on to our Chief Pilot! We'll be making more, so be sure to subscribe! 😉
Fantastic, great to see a curved approach from the pilot’s POV 👏🏻
Really glad you enjoyed it! Hope it's been of some use to you! Thank you for your continuing support! 🙏☺️
I live at ashlett just across the water. Love hearing the sound of that spit.

Don't idle the engine - it pops and bangs!! Terrific!
