Jim Ramsay, Real Enjoyed watching this video here, real good Camera work by you here Jim, Though'ley enjoyed eery moment of watching this here, seeing them March, An enjoy Yr day Jim. An Thank you for sharing this video here. 👌🌞👌
Bellísimo desfile con esos uniformes tan hermosos y coloridos con sus hermosas insignias marchando con orgullo y honor de pertenecer a su magestad ISABEL II de Inglaterra. Larga vida a su magestad ISABEL II de Inglaterra.
Each video amazes me more since I know Scotland but I never saw a spectacular parade like this Mr Ramsay! I hope one day to be able to do it! I send you warmest regards from Düsseldorf!
Constant battle between RSMs and Pipe Majors. The former want 120 paces to the minute, the latter like a more relaxed tempo - about 112- allows more expression in the playing.
Scotland to brave ,,- anthem ,quick march and drinking song .. met by ROYAL SCOTTICH MARINE is the best in engeneering and in blue collar jobs / industrial plumber/ Thank you , good memories
love your vids Jim 👍 Have you noticed the difference with the foot drill of Canadian soldiers and British? I joined age 15 and our drill was more like the Canadians, we were told not to cow kick when doing foot drill but to have the heel under the knee and foot parallel to the ground.
A piper myself , I am saddened by the truncated repertoire of military pipe bands these days. Don't say the pipers & drummers are "soldiers first" - it was ever thus.
I love the black watch I'm welsh but I thought all of scotland was like edingborough.my son in law in Southampton from glenrothes tragically died in friek accident outside his house 32 on his way to work.his brother placed a black watch dagger in his sock straightened his kilt he got married in in his coffin.so sad for his 3 girls aged 5..10.and 15.but to have the honour of black watch dagger he would have been so proud.i moved to Dundee to be near my grandchildren.i hate it.drug addicts are an embarrassment to Scotland.my son in law done 6 years in army.so put the drug addicts in army and sort them out 🇬🇧
Some of the drug addicts are ex-servicemen and after they fought for King and Country they were kicked out of the army so you're comments are so much wrong i think that you will have to think before you make any comments about things that you don't know about.
So sorry for your loss. Too bad about the addicts but they are everywhere and in all countries....not sure what can be done with the majority of them to help. Very sad.
John, pls cut the old man some slack he has prob never experienced this. Its true though many soldiers are just dumped on the street after serving but that is the fault of the Military or should I say Govt for not helping them when they leave. @@johnferris3399
In short .. no, Scotland is not covid free. But masks are only obligatory in specific locations e.g. public transport. Not obligatory walking down the street in open air.
My Dad Was There,In The 40s and,,,,God Bless Scotland 🏴 Always

Edinburgh is such a special place, and this was a great reel! Thanks
It sure is! I did a circuit round the castle at lunchtime - always in awe of Edinburgh!
I bet it's hard for the musicians to repeat the songs over and over and over again. but hey their representing Scotland !!!
So impressive to see the whole regiment turned out in kilts.
Parade to the Canongate Church? Certainly brightens up a dull Edinburgh day!
No better sight or sound. And the wee pony! Takes a lot of stamina to play for this long, well done all.
Great piper and all band. And love the wee pony!

I am Korean! I love Scotland!
Am I right that this march is at a faster tempo than is traditional for pipe bands? It just feels a touch sped up?
Yes, army bands always bring the tempo up, normal pipe bands can bring the tempo up as well but it depends on the pipe major
Quick march pace they are there to provide musical support to the marching troops behind.
