I don't think he did that bad. The guy himself has been coached by pretty highly skilled players. The guy he coached isn't a smooth brain either. They know it's content. Even if they lose the game, they don't walk away a loser. They're not going to remember everything Ludwig told him to do this one game as law. They're aware Ludwig is not that much higher than themself. He can take away his own lessons from Ludwigs playstyle.
The loop-dee-loop engage bainting all the ultimates onto the tank, so that his team has a huge advantage on the reengage, is actually a good play, but only works with low elo mindset.
I watched Toast's stream a few days ago (not with Pobelter) and Lud was pretty helpful to be fair. His team was losing all their lanes but they still won. Toast likes to fight and Lud made him focus more on farming and taking fights with his strongest person.
Farming and only taking fights with the other good players on your team is how you win in MOBAs. This is cause almost every MOBA has anti feeding/snowball mechanics. So letting the shitty players get farmed doesn’t hurt. While you and the other good player getting picked double or triple teamed and killed hurts way more.

Ludwig developing an ego for hitting plat 4 with is famous for being Elo hell because that’s where all the bad player who developed an ego thinking they’re good congregate is very funny
Jesus, people just keep moving the goalposts. Once Bronze was elo hell, then silver, then gold, and now somehow Plat is elo hell, even though only 20% of players get there.
Might sound like a hot take, but I do believe that depending on their level of knowledge of their role, a gold-plat players advice can be more valuable than a challenger players advice. Mainly because most challenger players have been running around in high elo for years and years, thats the version of League they know. If they dont have as much experience in coaching lower elo players, they will likely stick with the best advice, disregarding the context. The context being that in low elo nobody really understands how the game is played on an instinctual level like they do in Grandmaster/Challenger. The challenger will suggest plays that are objectively correct, but depend on not only fast execution by the player theyre coaching, but more often than not by their teammates as well. In the long run, its probably better to try to follow Pobelter when he says something - or at least try to learn from what hes saying - but if youre not planning on grinding to high elo and you just want to increase your odds of winning where you are, other advice might be just as valid. The age old dilemma between winning or improving :D
I love how every player once the elo inflates the ego with a ². What a classic. Either this or mext season watch him get hardstuck because he's "built different" and doesnt need help anymore
Toast win a league tournament playing Jungle lud hit plat once which to be fair is impressive considering how bad he was but his ego is getting out of control
I mean I get where lud is coming from, one is telling toast how to play with people from low elo and the other is telling him how people play in high elo
Thats why its so toxic in plat, emerald, diamond. People in that elo think they are amazing in the game but in reality they have maybe only gotten really good in a couple of areas of the game.
I will believe Lud is Plat, if he plays ANY OTHER ROLE without PRO-EX coaches babying him. Just raw dog it. No coaches. No boosters. No duo. Any other role.
He has never tried to climb soloq, he usually just plays for like a week maybe 2 then stops or stops when he gets to gold and then does other type of content, this is the first time hes actually trying a bit more to reach plat
@@otty4000yeah if toast plays as much as ludwig did, he ends higher. Also it’s harder to climb at the start of the season due to soft mmr reset than it is to climb at the tail end. The pressure however is higher at the very end of the season.
@@trevor245 yea i also kinda agree with this. The thing is if lud isnt playing jungler or amumu is banned or he is playing another game mode like aram then toast will outperform which does meaning something. luds tower is higher at the end of the day even if its built out of paper.

ludwig finally knows what its like to watch him play
Yes
We have the Unkillable Demon King, the Very Killable Demon King, and now we have the Low LP Demon King
The Low Elo Mummy King

Ludwig says Toast could have R out of Q at 4:55, but if you look his R literally was not pressable the whole time lol
I read the title super fast and saw "Disgusted Pobelter"
also a true title. he was probably pretty disgusted with lud there
lol they don't realize up until season 13, gold was the exact same as today's plat
what does that mean? also shouldn't the playerbase as a whole be getting better over time?
@@godlyvex5543 I think it's because the player base had a spike (I've never played League so idk fs)
