Been R/C modeling for 40 years and flown with these guy's back in the 80's and 90's and still fly and and attend most UK shows and you can't get better than this regards flying Building engineering and CRAFTSMANSHIP. Well done to all you L.M.A. GUY'S 👍
Saving for my first giant scale. Im doing it a little at a time but should be 100 percent complete in about 8 months. Thanks for all the inspiring videos!
Why???? Why does everyone at these meet fly like they are flying an f 15 slow down see what she can do at scale speeds. I think they should have a contest where you're judged by your stability at scale speed. Which means slowing down that's whole idea isn't it
lol - because flying models at scale speeds is totally F"^*^"G boring and rarely happens, the adrenaline flows better when you have a couple of grands worth of model tearing around the sky flat out - try it sometime !
good question Gregg, its because the grass is soft and the runway is solid and will chew up very expensive tyres and props and wing tips were as the grass wont - simples really !
So appreciative of everything that went into making this and all of the aircraft’s
many thanks bigwig
Some truly exquisite models there!! It was lovely to watch them fly!! (Especially that "balbo" of WWI aircraft!!) 😊👍

The guy in the yellow shirt at 2:03 looks the the bloke from the reliant robin shuttle episode on Top Gear!
Why aren't the planes using that nice SMOOTH and level paved runway?? Why take off and land on the bumpy, uneven and rough grass??
love Vulcan 💖💖

@@tbobborap1 lol yup
Although developed in the Cold War era for nuclear bombing role, the Vulcan is an amazing machine, even in scale model !
thanks
Yes the Vulcan was an amazing plane . I read some where that it had 3 times the power of a modern airliner and has been successfully rolled .
Vc10 looks great at 18:00 ..scary landing though .. bet the pilots heart was in his teeth
I reckon so jeff
why do they always take off and land from the grass when there is a perfectly good runway right there???....i see this in many videos
good question Gregg, its because the grass is soft and the runway is solid and will chew up very expensive tyres and props and wing tips were as the grass wont - simples really !
How come no one uses FPV? This does not make sense. That Spitfire at 18:56 is super cool looking.
Because its stupid.
Need to tie some streamers to the tails of the bi-planes and do simulated dog fights. Winner cuts the streamer tail off of the loser. 😊
