If you hadn't have told me I would have thought the machine gun sound effect was real. I was wondering if they were using some kind of onboard sound or some kind of miniature explosion. I'm sure somebody could figure out some way to make a working mimic of the real gun for their aircraft.
The advent of 2.4 GHz frequency enabled modelers the joy of flying all at the same time with no worry if interference. Model jet engines, sound modules, smoke effects and led lights to mimic firing of canons and machine guns plus dedicated modelers have made the hobby do realistic and rewarding.
With respect - and due admiration for your editing skills - the intrinsic beauty of RC modeling and your consummate videography skills are best revealed by allowing the aircraft, as well as the props prepared by their pilots, to speak for themselves.
I love watching "box flying"...such a skill..after all the same principles apply as to real flying ..stall angles etc. I have flown full fix wing aircraft. These guys really know their stuff . RC flying has been taken to a whole new level.... Amazing!!!!
As one who has just found these videos of model aeroplanes I would like to know where they are made. I assume it is one or two firms who have set themselves up as businesses. It must be a very expensive hobby, but what fun, especially once you have learnt how to wand withour damage.
Lots of companies make 'almost ready to fly' RC aeroplanes Ian...but some of these models are one off, unique, designed and built by their owners/pilots. For example the seaplane. Jets are moulded by the manufacturer but arrive as a shell which the owner has to fit out with the engine, fuel system, electronics, landing gear etc. For the hovering jet in this video you would need ~£15,000 to put it all together. You will see ready to fly foam electric models on my channel, that I review frequently. These are typical £100 to £300. It's a very broad hobby and there is something to cater for all size budgets. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Absolutely fabulous. Great editing. Only wish aircraft model names could be attached it drives me mad try to remember. The Dragonfly had me stumped although a chap I worked for had a Rapide and they look quite similar. Thanks for the good stuff.
It is amphibious James and the owner has promised to contact me when a date is set to fly it off water for the first time so I can capture it on video. Not for definite this year but a good possibility. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
You missed that then Dom. He did have it on water, and it sank. Just the wings on top of the water. All dried out now, and ready to go again. (He tells me)
OK...were those fireworks that simulated gunfire? I'd love to know how their set up to do multiple firings. Really cool vid, the A-10's and Mustangs were awesome.
I have a Disco Parrot that I fly it when I have occasion, it's catching 90km/h so easy but with some wind can also be a reasonable glider, I have few flights on my RUclips channel
I do 100s of videos buddy. Those clips were taken from just 2 that I did recently where I learnt how to add SFX. Was just something fun and different to do. Having been doing this for 8 years now I do occasionally have to find other ways to be creative. Gets boring otherwise. Fortunately you can only actually thumbs down once per video. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Essential RC Please never ever do this again? Your videos are the best of all I've seen on youtube, but the special effects ruined this video for me and probably for a lot of other viewers as well. Keep up the good work, top notch quality without SFX 👍
Wow I can't believe you talked that way to someone who viewed and commented on your video. Even though he doesn't like the FX, he still promoted your channel. I can't see many people subscribing to someone who's going to talk that way to fans.
Steven Shepler, thumbs down to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do your own material, and who are you to tell him how and what he does? Answer, no one that is who.
I think we should listen to sock puppet dipshitz like Steven. The effects are actually pretty cool and they were only done for a few seconds. You on the other hand will be a pathetic bitch for Life Steven

That flying boat was the reason I came here and I was not disappointed. Beautiful aircraft

Was that amphibian an albatross?

Awesome Show 2 Big Thumbs Up !!!

Agreed. That's what I tend to do. That is 'speak for themselves'. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
That Tiger Moth Glider combination was truly magnificent!
Fantastic!!
Thank you! Cheers!

You should have added gun fire effects to concorde. Would have been fun. 😁
Oh qué genialidad excelente video y feliz año 2020 desde Chile 🇨🇱😯👍
Would love to see the HU 16, Albatross, on water. That would really be special...☺
The owner did promise he'd get in touch when that was planned. I'm with you. Would be great to see that. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Beautiful flying jet at 6.10
Does the water plain actually float on the water?
Cool a10 guns, but forgot the trailing smoke....mustang guns need tracers!
Are the A-10 Rotary Cannons firing Peroxide, or some other fuel ? They are so Realistic. I have never seen this degree of detail.
Gostei dos efeitos explosivos!
love to have one of them any one of them
You and me both buddy. I am thinking of the turbine F-16 at the end. My kinda thing. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Hey Dom, is the Albatross shown here actually amphibious or is it just a great looking landplane?
It is amphibious James and the owner has promised to contact me when a date is set to fly it off water for the first time so I can capture it on video. Not for definite this year but a good possibility. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Was that turbine F16 a foamie???
What was the name of the seaplane again i can't remember
how much of cost of the mini plane

I can but a new car with the price of some of these amazing planes
Awesome video, love the A-10s how were they able to make that main gun to work and make it sound so dang realistic? Where to get one of those?
SFX were added to the A10 video after filming just for fun Kristofer. Something I learnt to do recently just for fun. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Awesome work, it seemed too good to be true with RC. Awesome video, been wanting to get into rc large scale planes for years.
One don't know if those are real or fake aircraft.
To bad they put a chainsaw engine in the P51 otherwise a real beauty
Thumbs down for every unnecessary fake explosion and altering of this video. Why? Wasn't needed one bit.

Essential RC, they are adding something to your videos that make them fun to watch. ONEFUNFONE, can make his own videos.
TheNijie, your do you get off telling Essential RC what to do with his videos? Do your own!
🌎👍Best Hobby Follow My Cool Eyes All Beautiful❤🌏
Yes me too. Great material but loose the fake, animations of gun fire and explosions, otherwise good stuff.
I do it just for challenge and fun sometimes Steven. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

Edward Case Dirac
A Rapide I think but it might be a dragon.
Very cool, no need for the fake gun noise, why not just make the sky red, and flown on Mars?
Maybe in the next one. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
