Looking to do a similar adventure. As a newbie, It is great to hear that they actually provide such great after sale service. I have heard some horror stories on new boats. Fantastic boat!
This is great to hear. My husband & I were really impressed with the boat, company, & service. So much so we’ve made this our boat goal to own one in the next 3-5 years. Really good to hear feedback from actual owners.
He was an excellent 'guest speaker.'It's better to hear from the builder himself, who knows exactly what is in a ship, why it's there, and how it works. Some salespeople know allot of answers, but the builder knows All of them.
do you think his idea to have a place in the Bahamas to be able to store during hurricane season will make insuring a boat in that area easier? I wonder if he realizes how much that will help boaters who are traveling far and wide!!
Never thought of that. Cold and wet outside, you are in a nice warm cabin with your line dropped through the hatch. Be a bugger to catch something that is too big to pull through the hatch though lol.
I chuckled when you mentioned the Wynn's and their window episodes which I watched with absolute fear about ever have to do what they did. I know they are selling their current boat and I just figured out what their new boat might be. It would be exciting to see them in a brand new X5 Plus. 😀

I fell in love with the Xquisite brand a few years ago, the very first walk-thru somebody put on youtube. The attention to detail is fantastic and their system of monitoring the maintenance schedules, not having to deal with anyone for warranty because they handle contacting the equipment manufacturers for you, now building a location in the Bahamas! Their commitment to satisfying the customers is unparalleled. The only thing I'd change would be making the owner's cabin with an island bed. Sadly, my financial levels would never even let me afford to charter one, but I'd just about give up my firstborn for the chance to sail on one! LOL
Victoria & Rico Another outstanding presentation and walk through of this beautiful Xquisite X5 Plus Cat !! Over the last couple of years you have toured many styles of boats & yachts with different layouts and all were beautiful. I must say that for a liveaboard a " Cat " is a very nice way to go with tons of room and storage, and not to mention the different options for sail and power by either engine or electric. Your Meridian is a nice yacht for sure, but as you have both said there are many things that you would like to have aboard that you lack right now ( bigger engine room, better refrigerator LOL and more room ) Oh I hope a Cat is in your future as I can just see you both having a fantastic time traveling from point to point and really enjoying boating life ! Of course relocating to Florida would be a wonderful idea, hint hint and open up many places to explore. Thank you for all the work you do on these presentations and have a great weekend ! Live it up

I'm not up on Xquisite yachts. I've bound to have seen a few, but my memory not so good. I'm not a SailCat fan compared to my love of Power Driven Vessels. But some do turn a head. She's a beauty.
@@NautiStyles sorry forgot to add lol. Omg it's awesome. I love Aquila and Horizon. Now seeing Xquisite, there is some serious competition in the sail/power cat vessel types. The hybrid tech he mentions is mental. Five ways through Sunday backups and limp in solar power back ups. I'd love to meet this guy. He offers do much along with the vessel. Think I'll get one if I win lottery. I'd love to tour this when launched.
We've been finding it nearly impossible to find plans or think of the best way to build a coffee table that converts into a dining table for our 50 ft monohull, we need to figure out how to get the plans for that table now!
This Company is on track to leave the competition in it's wake,so to speak. I would like to know if they are accepting investors in the Caribbean project? By the way, when is Alexei gonna have your boat finished????
21:35 Yes, absolutely brilliant sink set up. A proper draining board, built into the sink counter, while also fiddled, to keep the water, off the floor.
I'm sold... if and when it happens, I would buy this Cat. I think the only change I would want is a "work-room" for projects rather than the 3rd cabin. Better than perfect cruiser! Oh yeah, you two have the BEST boat-tour channel out there! I get disappointed when I watch other tours. It is your ENERGY! You both have the Yin and Yang happening that creates the perfect balance... Seriously ;o) Love you 2 and this EXQUISTE yacht!
Cool trick with the storage integrated to the steps. I like the master. The laundry setup is very smart. I also like a lot the dryer exhaust. The engine room is very neatly organized. It helps that the watermaker is in the storage in the bow.
I was cruising comfortably in my X5+ at 15 kts on my way to Hawaii, when a display suddenly went dead, no problem, I walked to the kitchen, took my tools out of the drawer. According me the most cool part of the boat. I removed the display to replace it with the reserve screen. Via my sat internet connection I ordered a new one. I noticed it was 5:00 pm so my workday was over. I closed my laptop, gave the boat systems a quick check. As usual all was perfect. It was a bit chill outside so I decided to stay indoors and open the dead display to repair it. I took my oscilloscope and soldering gear from the big drawer in front of me and started to open the display. Suddenly I felt something wet in my face. Strange nothing to see. So I ignored it. I removed the screws, but there it was again, now accompanied by the faint sound of a barking dog. I checked the GPS plotter but there was no land nearby. Probably a seal. Again something wet in my face. I opened my eyes and looked into big 2 brown eyes, my view partly blocked by a big pink tongue licking my face. It was my dog, telling me to wake up and walk with her. Damn, it was just a dream..... For 1.9M I am pretty sure it will stay a dream, a very happy one, but sadly still just a dream.
Well we use the Tesla solar tiles on the roof of our house along with a Tesla battery bank. We also have 3 spiral windmills. Very efficient systems and worth having. Installed on a boat could be a major plus. And for internet and tv we have a Star-link system. Again all worth having.
Victoria looking beautiful as always.. thank you guys for the tour that was a pretty cool boat I really did like the galley I love to cook and so when I watch your channel I always take note of the galley ... Anyway again thank you guys for the tour I look forward to next Saturday take care ❤️✌️⛵❤️✌️
What a great idea for the X-Marina and yard...Wow. I am curious how close the electric elements are to eliminating diesel propulsion. Keep the generator as a charging backup and replace the diesels with the electric motors used by Silent Yacht. Saved space and maintenance would be excellent. And a beautiful boat too, I bet this one is on the top your list now :)
The Silent yacht motors are too small, 5 knots is really very slow. I think these motors are 100 kw versus 20 kw. This yacht should make 13+ knots under electric power. With sails available, I think I would eliminate the diesel drive, with high power EV drives, large battery storage, diesel generator backup, solar panels and sails, that should be sufficient.
This boat got my attention. Sailing is cool but with my back injuries it is a no go. But with the power cat, now I am interested. I want to keep my boat on the East Coast and have my cruising grounds from Maine to Trinidad and Tobago. This certainly has my attention. Thank you.
Grab the hand crank and get to work. At 6:15 you can see where the handles attach to allow for manual use, they are the black protuberances just above the stainless.
@End - I have no words for this Cat... This is so awesomely designed!! A sailor designed, a sailor with 11 years of exp!! Thank you for sharing this... I simply feel, I could be with them, to learn more, be with them just to watch how they design and construct, and many more... But, all I can do is, send more and more love to you all from India!! The worst part is, I cannot visit a Camper Van builder who is just 4 km away from me!! This is what I call "STUCK"!!
Always 'Like' and had to do it quick so I could help by being 667th.Love the ship, and want the Hybrid.>Question:With the width of these 'catamarans',how much harder is it to find docking spaces versus a single hull of the same length that's not as wide,of course??
Thank you for the support, it's definitely more challenging in term of docking but it depends where you are in the world. as the popularity of Cats going up, more and more marinas are remodeling to accommodate the beam
@@NautiStyles Thank you.I've wondered that often,as most videos of vacationing people show the majority of ships anchored in the bays, and not at the docks were cats.
Awesome! Question: What is the material used for the trampolines? UV protected, elastics? How often do they need to be replaced, if required? I know......dumb question....but maybe reasonable. And those who are deficient in "sea legs".....Great idea?.....I dunno. I'm sittin' here just enjoying the boat, as you share with us. I have waaaay too much time on my hands.....Retired airline captain with no bucks. But, the technology and design in some of the featured.....outstanding. I do wish to learn to sail........at my age.....but, the water!!! Kayaking is about it....by the way, I'm known as captain airbag.....my beat up buggy reminds me too often. Guess my sails are flopping.....LOL!
@@bryduhbikeguy For me, when I'm not hiding in the comfy cabin.....out there....on those nets in rough seas? For whatever? Not a good idea, period. Taking things for granted is NOT my cup of tea. Wow Wow Wow. I want one, the only thing holding me back is I need $2.4 million. What a great company. He and his wife are geniuses. Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
Hey everyone! We play a drinking game when we watch. Start watching with a drink and every time Victoria says “Storage” take a drink!when Rico says it take two! This one was a challenge, I think they were trying to get us smashed! We had to refill three times!
Wow! really interesting and impressive. Nice to see another company "doing a Bering" :-) with the hybrid system. I love the idea of the Bahamas site - a LONG way from em in Aus, but wow what a concept! Thanks guys awesome tour!
I don't know how to properly sail, so this review isn't of much interest to me. However; I watched it all because Victoria is doing the tour, & she's more beautiful than the yacht.
I've been waiting for this and Ricco is right on the money. Sailing is great but it's a pain too. I was wondering when manufacturers were going to realize that as soon as they make a hybrid then they've done all of the work to make a Silent Yachts boat. Why not remove the mast and use that money to beef up solar and batteries? It's too bad that they still don't realize that they're evolving toward a massive solar array like Silent Yachts. Just skip to the end of the evolution and build using the Silent Yachts form factor! Silent Yachts has left a huge hole in the under 50ft class which is where the majority of sales are so there's a big opportunity in this market. I'm looking forward to a 46ft electric hybrid to hit the market someday with 10kw of solar. That would be an awesome machine!
The plan of XQUISITE is well planned and to have a set up right in the Bahamas is a wonderful exquisite plan, i wouldn't be surprised if every future runs on an app and can see the angle from the top of the catamaran from one's phone, I love the deep cabinets in the gally well done it's perfect!
Wow. Such excellent commentary on service after the sale and commitment to quality. We full time in our large RV. Trying to get quality service that caters to full time RV'ers is a constant battle. Were I in the market and could afford it, I would definitely lean toward a product that I knew I could get serviced.
Dang, this would be a bucket list boat for certain except for 3 issues, 1 of them is minor. 1. My better half doesn't like blue water 2. I don't have $2M burning a hole in my bank account. 3. It's been over 30 years since I've handled a sailboat, and THAT was a mono-hull literally half the length of this cat. The 2 weeks pre-paid training would definitely help with that, but I wonder if a new owner could come down to Cape Town and join in on at least part of the shake-down cruise?
Absolutely one of my favorite yachts reviewed. When I saw all the storage, I thought that it would be nice for Xquisite to label (tastefully and small) each storage compartment and write an app for a pad to keep an inventory of where the crew stores everything! Each storage locker could have a reasonable set of assigned things one could simply check which would go in the list and of course one could add any item one desires in addition. We are always asking ourselves where we put things on longer cruises and it would be nice to simply query and look it up! Great job on the boat and the video review!
I REALLY Hope you get the X5 Plus….at 208 gallons of fuel….but all that SOLAR and battery power….WOW…you could use their PORT as a Charter Boarding Facility …. 80 HP Yanmar? It’s NEW and plenty of SUPPORT I did not catch the top speed…but SILENT RUNNING IS A PLUS WITH A SAIL…..I am very happy about the sail….the downside is the Owners Suite….I wish there was a way to run the Owner’s Suite across to the other “Torpedo” and under the Galley,..would be something….Is a 70’ what’s the difference? 4 Cabins? Do you want to Charter 3 Couples at the same time….or can you stay with 3 Cabins and add. A settee to the Owner’s Suite? Larger shower? Add a spa tub on the Upper Deck? What does adding a spa tub do to the batteries, etc. How much more is the 70’. Don’t overextend yourself and be worried about Charter Service Reservations. You could even run as a Charter Taxi to the Virgin Islands….with a 4 night stay aboard and then book at a resort. Is there a common option such s a small Cummins Diesels? Can, you get a top speed to 20 Knots? I know you are excited? - Keith PS. I am so happy you are getting away from the West Coast.
Such a Beautiful, Fantastic Yacht and Technology integrated into this design, Thank you Victoria and Rico for Such a fantastic Walk Through.. Can't wait to see the next episode 🙌🏼
Wowser, Just when I thought I saw your best boat tour! You do this one. Victoria and Rico, you both keep us excited, like reading a good book, I'm hooked and waiting for what you have next.
This is one of my dream cat next to silent 55, i love it so much I hope I'll own it someday. But if only it has access door to the front deck like in Bali cat with its garage door, n master bed that face directly to the side of the boat so it feels wider. But overall beside the solar system n the easy way to operate for a beginner, this catamaran it's so AWESOME.. God plz have a mercy on me, I really want it before I die. Oh, btw I wonder if xquisite can go under 50ft perhaps 40ft? N how it will turn out to be? I'm curious 😄God bless ur channel n Tamas teams 💖 ️love from Jakarta, Indonesia. 💪👍⛵💟
What Would electric engines look like as far as top speed maybe 7 Knots is Cruise Speed. Rico would not be happy at that speed. But, LOWER COST would be a considerable trade off. I would stay with the Yanmar engines perhaps….you don’t want to go outside the “bubble” of their standard seller….So what about the 60’ instead of the 50’ and how much more? Room for a Spa?

lol you to poor anyway to buy one just stop dreaming buddy and live your life .... thats one of the worst catamaran ive ever seen ..... jesus if its the only one you'd consider just don't and keep working at your factory buddy ..... wort thing you can doi is buy a brand-new boat .... they come with tons of problemes...... dont think they dont ....... they do.... better buying a used one
@@lidec130 Thanks for proving stupid people have strong opinions about that which they are clueless.
I can agree with the 'Alexi of the catamaran' statement. Passion, attention to detail & simply a 💕💕 of what you do imho cannot b faked. The X50 is a beautiful machine. 😍 Thanks for the tour & have a ChamPag'ne 🍾🥂 on me.🤪😉👍
Yes! Thank you! Glad you felt the same way!
Awesome stuff and sounds like an Ideal company. Thanks kids.
Our pleasure! Thanks Alan
I'm not up on Xquisite yachts. I've bound to have seen a few, but my memory not so good. I'm not a SailCat fan compared to my love of Power Driven Vessels. But some do turn a head. She's a beauty.
what do you think of the 60 power then?
@@NautiStyles sorry forgot to add lol. Omg it's awesome. I love Aquila and Horizon. Now seeing Xquisite, there is some serious competition in the sail/power cat vessel types. The hybrid tech he mentions is mental. Five ways through Sunday backups and limp in solar power back ups. I'd love to meet this guy. He offers do much along with the vessel. Think I'll get one if I win lottery. I'd love to tour this when launched.
We've been finding it nearly impossible to find plans or think of the best way to build a coffee table that converts into a dining table for our 50 ft monohull, we need to figure out how to get the plans for that table now!
haha, reach out to Xquisite
diesel being what it is make this more practical
it's definitely the future
Love love love this company ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice!
This Company is on track to leave the competition in it's wake,so to speak. I would like to know if they are accepting investors in the Caribbean project?
By the way, when is Alexei gonna have your boat finished????
21:35
Yes, absolutely brilliant sink set up. A proper draining board, built into the sink counter, while also fiddled, to keep the water, off the floor.
Incredible..... beautiful boat..... I'll get one as soon as I win the lottery.......👍😎👏👌🤟👏
sounds good, rooting for ya!
I feel that electric/kite system will takeover.
I think it will be a great supplement, but not a takeover
Yay. Cape Town, my home. PLEASE, PLEASE can you organize a tour for my partner and I. PLEASE.
Reach out to the Brand pls
#787👍😀Finally a boat with a real warranty; training for new owners and so much more ongoing!
ERAU 80 CFIA&I ret.
Thanks for watching and the support
Eventually Xquisite should add marinas in the Mediterranean and Australia/New Zealand to cover the most popular cruising spots.
Now we are talking!
I'm sold... if and when it happens, I would buy this Cat.
Xquisite has some great stuff! Love the interviews I’ve seen there staff before and always enjoyed them
awesome!
The features on this are phenomenal. Thanks for showing us Victoria and Rico 💚
I wanted an Aquila power cat until I saw this video. This is now my new bucket list boat!
lol ops!
Well we use the Tesla solar tiles on the roof of our house along with a Tesla battery bank. We also have 3 spiral windmills. Very efficient systems and worth having. Installed on a boat could be a major plus. And for internet and tv we have a Star-link system. Again all worth having.
This is just insane. Literally end-to-end full service.
Thanks so much!
What a great idea for the X-Marina and yard...Wow. I am curious how close the electric elements are to eliminating diesel propulsion. Keep the generator as a charging backup and replace the diesels with the electric motors used by Silent Yacht. Saved space and maintenance would be excellent. And a beautiful boat too, I bet this one is on the top your list now :)
agreed! Too bad we made our choice already 🙈😝
@@NautiStyles Congratulations, I am sure your choice will be top notch. :)
@@NautiStyles You can tell. I love the Silent Yacht ideas.
Fantastic video. Looking forward to seeing a power cat tour in the future.
You and me both!
This boat got my attention. Sailing is cool but with my back injuries it is a no go. But with the power cat, now I am interested. I want to keep my boat on the East Coast and have my cruising grounds from Maine to Trinidad and Tobago. This certainly has my attention. Thank you.
What do you do when any of the electric furlers fail?
Grab the hand crank and get to work. At 6:15 you can see where the handles attach to allow for manual use, they are the black protuberances just above the stainless.
use as manual
@End - I have no words for this Cat... This is so awesomely designed!! A sailor designed, a sailor with 11 years of exp!! Thank you for sharing this... I simply feel, I could be with them, to learn more, be with them just to watch how they design and construct, and many more... But, all I can do is, send more and more love to you all from India!! The worst part is, I cannot visit a Camper Van builder who is just 4 km away from me!! This is what I call "STUCK"!!
I use your channel for visual motivation many mornings!! It's like a RUclips vision board!!!
Wow, thank you! 🥰🎉

You guys always make look sexier . Keep up the Bad work
Always 'Like' and had to do it quick so I could help by being 667th.Love the ship, and want the Hybrid.>Question:With the width of these 'catamarans',how much harder is it to find docking spaces versus a single hull of the same length that's not as wide,of course??
Thank you for the support, it's definitely more challenging in term of docking but it depends where you are in the world. as the popularity of Cats going up, more and more marinas are remodeling to accommodate the beam
@@NautiStyles Thank you.I've wondered that often,as most videos of vacationing people show the majority of ships anchored in the bays, and not at the docks were cats.
you got it!
I wondered that too, about the 'nets'.Also the lines as there's no way I'd climb a mast to change 1.
@@bryduhbikeguy The idea is attractive, but wasted space in rough seas. Who knows? These days, even the best sea goers are sometimes at a loss.
@@bryduhbikeguy Yes. I'd hate to be up on the bow deck in a storm.....trying to balance on the net. Guess my age is very revealing.
@@bryduhbikeguy For me, when I'm not hiding in the comfy cabin.....out there....on those nets in rough seas? For whatever? Not a good idea, period. Taking things for granted is NOT my cup of tea. You would not believe what I have to share......in the air, as a member of cockpit crews......Enough. Nothing here.....
I've always wondered why a mast camera isn't a standard?
Wow Wow Wow. I want one, the only thing holding me back is I need $2.4 million. What a great company. He and his wife are geniuses. Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
5X Plus is $1.9M 😝

More diesel free boats!!!
the future is here!
Built in South Africa where I live. They are a great outfit. I am most impressed.
Thanks for sharing Brian!
Hey everyone!
We play a drinking game when we watch. Start watching with a drink and every time Victoria says “Storage” take a drink!when Rico says it take two! This one was a challenge, I think they were trying to get us smashed! We had to refill three times!
I wonder how she performs under sails. Cats tend to be be rather on the „relaxed“ side…
I have heard she does great
Wow! really interesting and impressive.
Tamas and his company Xquisite are awesome, I’m actually torn between the 60 solar power Xquisite and the 60 Sunreef eco power.
Very innovative yacht. This will change the whole industry.
Glad you enjoyed the tour
5:06... Well im glad we all were thinking about Nikky and Jason Hahahah.
Wow. Such excellent commentary on service after the sale and commitment to quality. We full time in our large RV. Trying to get quality service that caters to full time RV'ers is a constant battle. Were I in the market and could afford it, I would definitely lean toward a product that I knew I could get serviced.
Shaft drive.... SHAFT DRIVE... Shaft Drive !!! ( an unmitigated necessity..!! )
Dang, this would be a bucket list boat for certain except for 3 issues, 1 of them is minor.
1. My better half doesn't like blue water
Well that was a truly xquisite tour. Many thanks Rico and Victoria. 👍👍😁😁
Wooooo , good one . Lol
Car maker making boats , ouch !! Lol
😝😝 Tell me about it
I REALLY Hope you get the X5 Plus….at 208 gallons of fuel….but all that SOLAR and battery power….WOW…you could use their PORT as a Charter Boarding Facility ….
Just kidding!
Stripes work on wife. Lol
Very sweet boat! It would be a wonderful one to sail around the Bahames. Very, very nice!
Where do you find a 230 KW battery charger?🤔
I watch Jason and Niki also, that's so cool.
Love them!
Victoria and Rico, you both keep us excited, like reading a good book, I'm hooked and waiting for what you have next.
ooow thank you kindly! More to come!
Hajrá Tamás :) Great to see a guy from my nationality (probably :) ) doing great. Great ideas for these boats.
Where are you from?
@@NautiStyles Hungary.
