Very interesting very detailed
I currently fly a Gulfstream airplane (which is considered the best in the industry), and can relate Xquisite’s mindset to that of Gulfstream’s. They approach customer support in the same way (it is more expensive), but this is what the owner of such high end product expects. This approach is for sure raising the bar and will for sure distance Xquisite from their competitors. Many of the things said in this video is very similar to how an airplane manufacturer sees the operation as a whole. Plug and play equipment, easy maintenance, and great support (using cloud base information for preventive maintenance, wow)! You guys are on the right track to building a very strong reputation. Hope you can keep this up. I visited this boat at this years Miami boat show, and Sean gave me a tour himself. I will for sure become a customer. This is what I was looking for. Thank you!

Yup, it doesn't leave much to imagination. This one video lets you know whether this boat is for you or not. And i can't imagine if you are in the market for a 50' catamaran, this wouldn't be the boat for you--well, at least me.:) Thanks for sharing.

I echo the wonderful comments below. Great to see a dishwasher along with all the features. The ability and ease of replacing components is a key feature. The redundancy features exceed what is available on most aircraft and other vehicles.
I love the dishwasher, he had to tell you that it was on because you could not hear it.

Hi Craig, Just got around to watching this video tonight. Great job and congratulations to Sean. I should disclose that I am the owner of hull 3 that you did a wonderful tour video on at the Annapolis boat show in 2017. May I just add that we have now owned her for a full two years. Just like any new boat, there were some issues of course, however, Tamas and the the team at Phoenix did everything they said they would do and more. I have heard from other owners of new vessels that have had some nightmare stories dealing with other companies. Jeff on Sea Larks

The wiring alone makes me want to buy one of these over other folks. I've had to troubleshoot so many networking and radio gear cabinets on land over the years and I really appreciate the clean installs. This is no joke one of my biggest concerns about buying a boat based on photos and videos I've seen over the years. A big thank you from this engineer for showing those wiring cabinets in detail!!
It is a very clean and efficient system of wiring. I was impressed.

This builder doesn't mess around. That is an amazing boat.
Its a motor sailor, too heavy, maintenance and up keep would be ridiculous. This is for old rich guys tbat have never sailed in their life and would be selling them a year after they bought them.
@@testicool6522 really? It look well put together. I'm a hopeful sailor, future after retirement. This one isn't a sail boat the can sail most of the time? Wouldn't want to motor around much. I'm still learning.
@@johnmichaels4330 a lot of good ideas but at the end of the day its a sail boat that cannot sail in umless there are strong winds and you would need to budget for a lot of diesel.

Absolutly amazing video, never ever seen such a good guide of a boat in action! And WHAT a boat!!!! I have been sailing for more than 30 years, but this cat is in a league of it´s own! Most definitely the best explanation of any yacht construction and systems implementation I have ever seen. So much detailed description, and usage information shows that it is very clear that major research was performed before design and function factors were selected.
And the Cruising Off Duty crew have brought all this to us in a very professional way as well.
A perfect example of a combined desire to help others understand the details, and most certainly has been of great benefit towards my decision on which supplier I will buy from.

That was the best review I have ever seen of a catamaran. Xquisite need to keep Tamas purely for his enthusiasm and comprehensive knowledge of the X5, unbelievably informative and I want one now despite the 21 tonne but it is a fully loaded yacht giving absolute luxury and still maintaining good performance for bluewater cruising, it is a penthouse on water so thank you. Need a dive compressor though? The attention to detail and redundancy is incredible and the cloud backup from the company for maintenance amazing. An incredible boat builder. Tamas thank you dude and you to Cruising Off Duty :)

This boat is, by some margin, the best cruising catamaran on the market. Tamas has an incredible savvy for making really, really good boats. I cannot get enough of this boat, it is just so well thought out and manufactured. After seeing Craig's tour of hull #3 I began maxing out my retirement contributions solely to be able to purchase one and cruise indefinitely ASAP! I probably have another 20 years of saving, but I WILL own one! This is the boat dreams are made of! Thanks for another well done video Craig, I would love to buy both you and Tamas a beer sometime. Keep up the good work!

I saw one of the X5's at anchor near Baha Mar marina in Fort Lauderdale a few years ago and thought I was dreaming. Its the coolest looking cat on the water, but after watching this VLOG I now feel its the best built and more importantly best builder coverage, not to mention all the redundancy!! Amazing dreamboat!!

I am not a big fan of catamarans, but only because of the interior styling. However, this boat is exceptionally well designed and furnished. I also love the cockpit and helm station. This is a Yabba Dabba Doooooo! If only many of the mono hull designers would think things through.
I was on it for 9 weeks. I couldn't find anything about this Cat that I didn't like. Other than it is probably out of our price range, New. If a used one in good shape at a good price came along, I'd jump on it.
This is the most organized boat I’ve ever seen. If they live up to everything the owner is saying he will do, Xquisite will stand heads above the competition. Beautiful boat, well thought out.

Thanks. Is there a solar one coming out? I asked Tamas about solar with electric propulsion and he said no. If you are right he has changed his mind. The future is electric. I hope they do come out with it.

You devil you I'm retired and once I expedite myself from the clutches of my doctor I will hopefully have a boat in a year. But now instead of three cats you have add another to my list. So many thanks:)) Oh one last thing the wood board used to keep the two cabin boys safe and separate. The origins are 14 century european and the boards we called a bundling board.

Great job Craig! Tamas’s passion shows throughout this video and others that he/they have put so much thought into every aspect of this superb cat and it shows. I think this boat will continue to stay on the leading edge of all the newest and latest, greatest ideas to make sailing easier, better, and safer along with all the built in redundancy. I would surmise that they will be expanding their factory in an attempt to keep up with demand. Thanks Craig for bring it all to us in this superb video!!!
Thanks. I asked if they plan to expand their production line in the future and they said no. They want to built quality boats and when you double your capacity and the number of employees you tend to lose some quality. They are hoping to have Cats that keep their value, so building quality is how you do that. I bet the waiting list for new boats will just get longer and longer.

This was an excellent video! I’m 6 years out from casting the lines myself and if there is an X5 available when the time comes, I will do everything I can to afford and purchase that boat. Great job with the filming and even better job building to what the customer wants!

The window by the toilet at 8:36 is really cool. The boat almost has the feeling of being in a submarine.
You do get a great view of the ocean from anywhere in you cabin and that includes the head. :-)

I was all set to order a Leopard 50, but this review gave me cause for pause.
I bet you would spend about the same on a Leopard 50 once you add all the accessories etc you would need for a full time live aboard blue water cruiser. That's why we see more value in the boutique builders that build them from the factory with blue water cruising in mind. Im talking when new. I think a used 50' Leopard will drop more in price over time so you may get a good deal on one in the used market. We may end up with a Leopard or a Lagoon. It all depends on what seems like the best deal on the used market when we are ready to live full time. What we sell our house and all assets for is the money we plan to spend. Time will tell what our final budget will be. Then we will know what we can afford. It will be fun shopping. Soon enough
Outstanding and VERY detail tour of this cat. It’s a tremendous boat and worthy of its name...XQUISITE Yachts. I appreciate the attention to detail and having a redundant system. Like you said Craig, if I had the money this would be the one for me. Last year, I got to see one docked at the Liberty Landing Marina in New Jersey. I took a bunch of pics. Wished I would’ve know what hull number it was. Anyway, I continue to play lotto for that lucky ticket...LOL.

I was blown away by the fabulous and total organization of the many systems on the X5. I used to build airplanes, so I understand what I saw on this video. From an engineering perspective, this was the ideal systems integration. Very well thought out and executed. Love your used resale/certification plans. Brilliant, really!
