I just saw this anime this month. I've put it off for so long think it probably won't be up there as the likes of Ruronin Kenshin, Afro Samurai and the likes. I didn't want another terrible anime leave a bad taste in my mouth, but my gad!!! I was blown off my feet. The philosophy, the tempo, the relationship... All these vertues were well incorporated and delivered. This is why I love well made Japanese animes/movies. There are just a handful of few music out that actually reach deep down into your soul and you just get it...the immense satisfaction, the music-gasm and then you realize, this is actually what music is suppose to make you feel. Beautiful is an understatement.
was 17 when a friend showed me this movie. Can't count how many times I've watched it over the past 13 years. Still arguably the best movie I've seen of its kind.
This movie is extremely moving. Other's watch boxers, idealise athletes, find their motivation in rap or rock. Mine comes from this movie. The music makes me strive to be the best. The story humbles me and makes me look into myself. The characters make me question if I'm realy a good person, and if what I'm doing is right. It makes me remember love and compassion, in a world where it's hidden behind masks and hypocrisy. It gives me hope, and helps me get back up and move forward after every blow
You right this music motivates me to get stuff done. Rap and rock could never motivate me like other people. But it’s always the movie/video game’s soundtrack that do.
This movie is my all time favourite out of everything, which I've seen this more than a dozen times over. But the feelings I get when the high pitched flute soars over the rest of the composition I have this overwhelming feeling like my spirit is soaring through the clouds, like how Nanashi feels when he rides a good horse 🙂❤️ Nanashi also reminds me that even through the worst pain I'll never feel more alive and to keep on fighting until I draw my last breath. "I'd rather fight with the pain, it makes me feel more alive" - Nanashi
I just got done watching this movie for the first time 5 minutes ago and came straight here. That was amazing and this soundtrack only makes it better. I love everything about it.
The opening part of this music is truly beautiful, there's something so peaceful about it. I don't think my ears have ever heard something so beautiful. Thank you Sword of the Stranger. Best Anime I've ever watched.
I feel like this movie needs to be watched by everyone... and this ending song just brings out so many emotions... A beautiful story and brilliant music.
I am mad at myself for having never given this a shot before. The way the music swelled up during the climax, the knot in my throat kept getting tighter. This is in my top 10 movies of all time. OF ALL TIME!
A real shame there are not more Anime Movies like this one. Just watched it the second time and it was still as stunnning as it was the first time. Love this music!
this movie is so awesome, the score is perfect and epic, and the final battle just mind blowin, the best sword duel i've seen in anime. totally agree, so underrated...
If you look at the comment section, no one is argueing.. everyone lets everyone comment their own favorite thing without saying that it's bad etc... impressive, my friends.. only a few parts on youtube where people don't spread hate.. Much love to everyone
@@PvPCreepers you both right this music is amazing and lets no talk about the movie cuz the movie in my opinion one of the best anime i have ever watch and still watch it
So beautiful. I listen to this so much, but it's one of the rare pieces which I can listen to over and over. If anyone's interested, I recommend 'Asian dream song'. Just write it in on youtube and you'll find it. It's also quite beautiful.
Nanashi's dead, dude. It's a buddhist story where Nanashi had to clear the bad karma he got from killing children by saving a child. And he did it. That was his story, he could die in peace. And you can tell he probably didn't make it because he was still bleeding badly hours after the battle and Kotaro tells him that the next village was still far away while looking somber as hell before forcing himself to smile again.
Wesley Crawford so what are your favorite anime shows? for me I love Ghost in the shell. but I also love complex character development so I love stuff like Berserk and Devil Man
There is always a moment when you know that the movie is AMAZING! and it's when you try so hard to hold your tears yet you cry like a bitche! ... and i cried dor this one!
I love the movie! It's like an happy end...but...not realy, i find that logical! The movie is, so totaly awsome! i thank you that you upload that song...or melodie...I will remember of that movie when i herd that melodie!Thank you!
When i listen to this song its like falling to your death smiling like seeing a beaten up dog lying in a small corner looking at you, not saying goodbye to the girl you love just staying there knowing you will never see her again cause it is just a dream and you will wake up every moment, like watching angels die and good people giving lives, like being the last person alive sitting on a cliff watching the sunrise, like being ripped apart piece by piece inside out opening your soul filled with s
@Naxel4359 i think its remidied by the multiple awards this movie has recieved and it having pretty much the covenant tital of best fight scene ever for the last battle
the last fight scene was just..................WOOOWWWWW DUDEEEEEEEEEE AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEEEEE then they kiss and die
I've never been much for anime. In fact, I hate most of it and barely tolerate the rest. But this movie? I loved it so fucking much. Probably one of my favorite movies now.
You are thinking of "A Gift of Thistle" from Braveheart, ruclips.net/video/wUNSZEDfwu0/видео.html&ab_channel=TheSoundtrackBeast If you skip to about 40 seconds in, the two songs are almost note-for-note copies
Through this song you can feel how much nanashi felt pain all his life
Close your eyes and feel the music. 🫶🏻
「痛みがある方が、生きている気がする」
あの一連のシーンは今なお大好きだ・・・!

I hope Nanashi survived but even if he didn’t, that he is finally at peace with himself.
If you look at the comment section, no one is argueing.. everyone lets everyone comment their own favorite thing without saying that it's bad etc... impressive, my friends.. only a few parts on youtube where people don't spread hate.. Much love to everyone

So beautiful. I listen to this so much, but it's one of the rare pieces which I can listen to over and over. If anyone's interested, I recommend 'Asian dream song'. Just write it in on youtube and you'll find it. It's also quite beautiful.
