Bless you! Start of with Nairobi National Park if you're in Nairobi. There's an animal orphanage your son will love.
the difference between a park and a reserve is simple and not the size. Parks are owned and fully controlled by KWS eg Amboseli, Nairobi, Tsavo etc while reserves are community projects and the respective communities control them eg Mara, Samburu among others.
